Until there is real evidence and not those bastions of truth I shall call click bait BS on that rumour.

mdooher: "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me" is a lesson parents teach their children about ignoring name calling and getting on with life.

Sadly, this is a lesson that many parents find necessary to teach their children in some form about dealing with racism and racist comments. It takes an enormous amount of forbearance and support to succeed academically and professionally in such circumstances.

The more we teach our children that names can hurt them the more they will be hurt by the name calling.

In contrast to the above I've never heard of any parent teaching this.

As Trump has proved, literally anyone can grow up in America to become president. That used to be considered a good thing.

Eva888:

Lady Colin Campbell, biographer is writing about it in her new book. Elon may need more spaceships.

Is she a hagiographer or biographer - or do the "facts" she presents sway with the wind of potential profit?

Musk better bring weed and popcorn seed to plant between the rows of potatoes.

:)) There are no saints among the royals and... wind direction can change very fast.

As someone wisely quoted earlier, 'Bread and Circuses,' as the orchestrators race to the bank...while we the sheep bicker over the analysis of a word.

Time for tea.

As for the running for president links would be useful for this revelation

The only thing I have seen about it is jokes one of their children could run and be President while still in the line of succession to the British Royal Throne. Finally bringing the wayward colony back in to the fold.

If Meghan Markle bullied staff at the palace this is wrong and she should face that and deal with it, however that does not lessen the impact or the culpability of those who bullied her and racially abused her and her unborn child. This reinforces the premise of institutional bullying and racism at the palace.

Assuming that any or all of the reports and allegations are true. Nobody knows.

All this hooha reminds me that the royal family is a terrible incongruity for modern times. Wishing to avoid long drawn out threads about what one minor royal may or may not have said to someone else and purely to show great mercy to these people, I suggest we use 'the romanov solution'.

Their role is purely symbolic. They don't actually do anything useful. Surely we can find other people to open hospitals?

Most of the posters in this thread are just like chimpanzees on MDMA, full of feelings of bonhomie, joy, and optimism. Fred99 8/4/21

Well that's not quite correct - at least one person knows, probably at least two.

Given the unreliability of eyewitness reports of almost anything I don't even think that is true, especially when the participants are strongly incentivised to remember what they want to remember.

One wonders about the quality of staff assigned to her... it would be a common tactic to assign the most useless and troublesome individuals, in roles out of their depth, to someone that wasn't wanted, setting her up in a minefield of potential complaints vs inability to get anything done satisfactorily. And a nice byproduct is that the troubles are removed from a friend's account.

I am so over Meghan Markle that just for the sheer hell of it I asked the Internet if she was an alien (outer space type). Not even the conspiracy nuts came back with that one, though it does turn out that a significant number of them are convinced she is a robot!

I have no emotional investment or general interest in Meghan Markle or the Royal family. I am annoyed at the treatment she has allegedly received and have a general digest in bullies and racists.

Meghan Markle an alien or robot. She did for a time reside in the home of a lizard person. She did live in Canada for a bit, just saying. I have ever never noticed if she has two eyelids or a liking for Oddfellows.

They are not the only group of wealthy people who don't actually do anything useful. There are many others. How about many professional sports men and women?

I'm thinking particularly of golfers and Formula 1 drivers and teams.
