So, I got Sennheiser headphones as a recent present, which was a BIG upgrade from $10 Laser ones. I use these mostly for youtube videos/music.
They are wired and leak sound both ways, so it would be nice to have some that were wireless and blocked the leakage.

I have a pair of last seasons Sony 1000XM4 (not sure if that's the technical name but that's what my Bluetooth says) and I bought them to drown out the noise of my kids and my husband talking shit (but mostly to drown out the sound of my special needs son when he screams at the top of his lungs). It's kind of been good because the technology recognises when I start talking to my kids and it stops the music and turns on surround sound so I can hear them. The double tap to turn on or off the music has been helpful too.

My issue now is that my eldest son has turned 13yrs and has his own phone, and for some reason thinks he's entitled to take my headphones whenever he wants too. It's always a fight trying to get him to give them back. Sometimes I let my youngest son (7) use them because he has a crappy phone with no sound and I don't want to hear his huggy wuggy videos, but my 13yr old will manipulate him to get the headphones from him, and then he uses them to listen to music while he plays basketball and gets them sweaty or gross. Let me just say I am the ONLY female in a house with 5 males, and I NEED my own headphones to help me stay sane, by drowning out the men and listening to my calming meditation music.

I would love to win a new pair of headphones. I can't post a photo of my current headphones because one of my kids has gone and hidden them from me, but when I find them I will see if I can edit this post to add a photo.

Good lord! I recently joined gym and was looking for headphones to workout with. I had JBL over the ear but lost them.

I’ll be definitely using them to go with my workouts and listen to pumped up music! 🤞

My current headphones of choice are the generic wired brand from the Gas station :-)

There are better pairs in the house but of course the kids have taken ownership of them...

I use Moana Rd beanie to watch TV in bed without annoying my wife. They're bluetooth only so only use them with my phone.

They're also great for travelling on the bus in winter when it's too cold and I can't wear both a wooly hat and over-ear headphones easily.

For work I use Sennheiser HD 400S. Comfy over-ear and great sound quality and price point. No bluetooth, wired only. But I've found that when choosing between bluetooth only and wired only, wired is better and more versatile. Not all my devices have bluetooth, but nearly all have a headphone jack. These work great for conference calls. Mic is built into the stereo cable, but works great. Will only work on a earphone jack that supports this stereo plus mic combo. But it's fairly common, so shouldn't be an issue.

Currently have the Sennheiser 4.50BTNC. I use it all the time for whatever purpose - music/podcasts on the phone, movies when in bed and wifey doesn't want to watch, teams meetings, etc.

I use air pods pro. Mainly for listening to podcasts when I exercise (walking), but sometimes for music when cooking dinner. I don't use them for anything else. Entire reason for buying them was noise cancelling on my walks through auckland central, the noise from trucks and buses was intolerable.

My two main ear-listening-pieces are some Koss Porta Pro headphones (recommended by an internet friend) that cost 25 quid and sound pretty great, that I mainly use for playing Fortnite and occasionally for drowning out the wife's work Zoom calls, and some Tronsmart Spunky Beat(?!) earbuds that I bought based on a review on Scarbir's awesome "wireless earbuds under $100" review site. I use these (actually only the right one) to listen to audiobooks and podcasts while walking/running with the dog. They sound good and fit pretty well but the "touch controls" are a bit OTT and occasionally they'll decide to call one of your contacts at random, which can be annoying.

I also have some cheap Chinese over-ear Bluetooth wired/wireless headphones-with-optional-mic (or is that headset-with-removable-mic) that are so good and useful that I never see them because either the wife or kids are using them, and some AKG K141s that I've had for 25 years that need repair (again).

But yes, some shiny new Technics headphones would be most appreciated! 👲

Hi There,

The only headphones I have currently are a set of Xbox headphones that I use with my Series X. I use them to listen to music, play games and watch shows running off of my xbox.

Xbox Xbox Wireless Headset, , hi-res

I would love any of these headphones or earbuds being given out currently as it would allow me to have some headphones to use while I'm out for a run or working out as well as perhaps a better audio quality for watching TV and listening to music and gaming. The Xbox headphones don't seem to be the best.

My TV is a cheap Veon, so the sound quality is really bad without headphones.

I thought it's worth adding I'm a student in my 3rd year of study, so I guess I can't afford a decent pair of headphones as easily as some others.

Currently using some cheap as $20 Jam live loose in ear headphones, for either sitting at my desk working, or when I'm out for a walk or run.

Fairly budget, and not ideal walking/running due to the weight of the volume control swinging around, had to add a dongle thingie to tighten up the cord around my neck.

Anyway, would love to have some Technics buds, and ditch the cord!!!

Got some crap $5 wired buds at various random places around the house - some only have one bud left - which is good when you want to listen to classical music but have to keep an ear open to receive instructions form your good wife. (She, on the other hand is free to wear both in-ear bluetooth constantly !: :( and i"m not allowed to critise her!)
