Handsomedan: Red2: I know that someone previously said it was rubbish - and I watched it with some trepidation as a result - but I thoroughly enjoyed this!
It was action, comedy, drama and silliness all in one easy-to-consume package.
Not sure if it was as good as the first, as it was so different to the first one, but I thought it was great Saturday night entertainment for the wife and I.
7/10

ilovemusic: 47 ronin - a good reason why you don't give a rookie director a $100m+ film 3/10

Goes to show these are subjective. I actually quite enjoyed it. Cool story, awesome set pieces, and some pretty nice sfx. Then again it was right up my alley. Not quite in the same league but other top fav's are The Seven Samurai and Red Wall.
I would give 47 Ronin 7/10 for a good couple of hours of escapism.
