Watched the BBC Documentary "David Bowie - Five Years". (90 mins so I guess it can be considered a movie).

Covers the period of time when Bowie was at his most influential beginning with the album Hunky Dory and ending with Let's Dance.
I think it was broadcast to coincide with the release of The Next Day last year.

Anyway, if you are a Bowie fan it's a fascinating doco with lots of interviews with past collaborators.

8/10

Pearl Jam Twenty.
Not a huge fan but I liked the bits with Soundgarden members.
A good Sunday watch though. 7.8/10

Captain America - Winter Solider - Good Story, decent acting.

Scarlett Johansson was not too flash in it, she let herself go from the Avengers, but was still a compelling character.

All in All I'd give it a 8/10.

Watched Gravity in 3D on my new projector - Panasonic PT-AE8000. To be honest I'm not a fan of 3D TVs but I got to say that on a 100" screen its pretty impressive. I was thinking that the 3D glasses would just go into a drawer never to be seen again but I think now I may actually check out a few films in 3D.

The movie wasn't bad either.

Yup I have the Sony VPL-EX50 and I have to say, the 3D on that is breathtaking, even my wife thinks it's mind blowing.

Saw Noah last weekend.  Wifey liked it I was so so .  If you  forgot that it was  based on a biblical story it wasn't too bad.  6 out of 10

It would still make some kind of sense?

More like the classical  "Sword and sandal" of the 1960s  with modern effects.smile

Just out of interest, if this was "Gilgamesh" based on the epic of Gilgamesh would it affect your mind?
