rb99:

Then they want my secret code  / secret questions. You don't think maybe if I can't remember name or password I'm not going to remember those either ?

They're not secrets, they're pseudo-secrets that you don't forget like where you were born or your dog's maiden name, the sort of compromise-authenticator that anyone with access to LinkedIn and Facebook can bypass within a few minutes.

Just for reference, my dog's maiden name is 87sygf7dfygu and it changes every ten minutes.

Geektastic: Self-evacuate?! What is this fresh new linguistic hell? Just “evacuate” is all you need.

No, you've got the wrong thing. Evacuation is moving people to somewhere safer. Self-evacuation is what you do after a dodgy vindaloo.

The endless loop that is our house claim with the insurers.

Need a Property Assessor to come out and reinspect the damage, as it's gone beyond a normal claim now (18 months on and many many escalations later).

He contacted us and said he wants to come "week after next".

That was a month ago and he's not replied to voicemail or email or text message since.

Meanwhile we are living in a dusty, half-usable house with some but by no means most of the repairs half finished. Many have barely started.

I'm getting to the point where a call to the ombudsman might be the go.

That my car insurance this year is $150 more expensive than the amount I paid for it brand new 3 years ago.

We got our new home and contents bill yesterday and it has gone up 19% from last year.   Yikes.!

Just got my contents insurance bill. 46.5% increase.

It's an imaginary dog. The breed changes each time the name does.

When you respond "stop" to a marketing text message, so they start posting the rubbish to you instead.

Remove something and pack it elsewhere.

That doesn't get a 568gm drone under 500gms which is the legal limit to take a drone into Türkiye without registration.

You can't get registration without being a Turkish citizen and having done drone training in Türkiye

Weigh it without a battery and/or blades and/or some parts like covers or body shell? Or with a small battery weighing 68gm less than the standard battery? Or tiny thin blades?

Plastic is about .5g/cc (nylon), so removing about 136cc of plastic will get it under weight. Can you drill lightening holes in some parts?

As per E=mc^2, you can save up to a microgram by weighing it with a flat battery... .

Start it up when they weigh it?

I've heard that in many jurisdictions adding a US$100 bill to the scales can reduce the weight of most items.

In another forum removing weight from a drone was said to be pointless as the manufacturers specified weight was used. DJM Air 2?
