Handle9: I wasn’t asking for input. This is the things that annoy me thread not a thread to ask for annoying comments.

I sort of agree and know what you mean in respect of certain types of comments. Particularly annoying are comments in other threads on semi-legal or technical matters where people who clearly have no knowledge of the subject matter post 'authoritative' comments - which are patently BS. You have been a champion in some of those threads.

However if something is worthy of posting in this thread, you need to expect comments - by posting here you are tacitly inviting comments and input. If they're comments that you don't mind, you don't say anything. However if you dislike them, you feel aggrieved and say "... not a thread to ask for annoying comments". I don't think you can have it both ways. Many of those other threads are 'serious' threads where people are looking for advice. IMO this is a 'bit of fun' thread - the reason people post here is to see the comments.

Sure I can have it both ways. If it annoys me it annoys me.

Cryptic payee names on my credit card statement/transaction list.

I bought something from the Nike shop on Lambton Quay on Monday, it shows up in the app as Retail Prodigy Ops.

(Particularly annoying because it's a joint account used liberally by Mrs. Floyd, makes it difficult to ensure all transactions are kosher.)

Absolutely. I get questions from our accountants wanting to code transactions and often I cannot for the life of me decipher "Happy Cat Solutions Singapore Pty" two months after the transaction for $9.99!

That doesn't get a 568gm drone under 500gms which is the legal limit to take a drone into Türkiye without registration.

You can't get registration without being a Turkish citizen and having done drone training in Türkiye

I assume you mean Turkey?

What is the actual likelihood of your drone being pulled out of your checked baggage and being weighed?

You're not supposed to exceed 7kg for cabin bags either, but my record is 18kg....

I'd be surprised if the risk vs reward equation lends itself to trying.

It's one of those funny things: we say Greece, Finland and Japan, not Ellada, Suomi and Nihon, but apparently we're "supposed" to say Türkiye instead of Turkey now.

It’s a nice to have rather than essential. It’s annoying not to take it but it’s not worth pushing it.

Getting a text from Orcon letting me know my fault should be resolved, over a week after it was resolved. No updates during the fault.

Finally getting the news we wanted from the Insurance Co that our reinstatement is going to get going again, then talking to the project manager who informs us that we are unlikely to be able to start said works until at least October.

That will be a year from the last time they did anything...

The country has recently changed the spelling of its name, so Handle9 is using the current name.

From previous replies, it seems they won't bother with weighing. They will just use the specifications from the manufacturer.

What's the likelihood? It doesn't matter. It can happen.

Yip. It's like driving drunk. What are the chances of getting caught or having an accident?

Getting into trouble with customs while I'm on holiday with my family isn't my idea of a good time.

Edit: typo

What even are "On Road Costs"?

A dealer legally has to provide the car with current WOF and Reg, so, under $200 for a "car" if they decide to charge you for the privilege of providing their legal obligations.
Even the thirstiest vehicles wont fit $1300 of fuel in them.
Change of ownership is $9.

I'd be inclined to so no thanks unles they can provide a breakdown of what the costs are and why I NEED to pay them.
