geoffwnz:Geektastic:The mysterious rort that is "On Road Costs".
Used to be about $350.
Just bought a new Subaru. $1500 ORC!
What even are "On Road Costs"?
A dealer legally has to provide the car with current WOF and Reg, so, under $200 for a "car" if they decide to charge you for the privilege of providing their legal obligations.
Even the thirstiest vehicles wont fit $1300 of fuel in them.
Change of ownership is $9.I'd be inclined to so no thanks unles they can provide a breakdown of what the costs are and why I NEED to pay them.
I tried that. It’s as simple as “that’s what we charge if you want your car”. The $5,000 extra tax was even more painful.
