To quote Steve Jobs, "you're holding it wrong."

That 100% guaranteed I'll never buy another Apple Product again.

I read something recently that suggested that the X in Xitter is pronounced "sh".  If so, then that's my take on the dumpster fire that twitter has become.

Chief Twit was the best and most appropriate name he had, and he gave it to himself.

My last Apple product was in 2010 after antennagate (other than an Ipad we won).

Garages that over torque wheel nuts.

I’m sitting on the side of the road waiting for roadside assistance unable to change my tyre because the clowns have overtightened them and there’s no way to get the nuts off without a rattle gun.

I said the same thing at the time (I believe that was the iPhone 4?).

But Android kept getting more bloated and Google kept changing core services and applications.

The hopes I had for Nokia and Maemo/MeeGo were dashed by Elop. I really wanted a N9, what a beauty.

Then Windows Phone 7 seemed to be getting grudgingly positive reviews and looked like it could be a potential third competitor in the mobile space. But of course Microsoft squandered that.

Ended up with an iPhone 6+ and then an iPhone 12 Pro Max.

Can I give this more than one +1?

The first thing I do these days when I get home after getting new tyres fitted or balanced/aligned is to undo the nuts and re-torque them using a torque wrench to the manufacturer's settings. Like yourself I've been caught out before.

When all the dog-friendly seating at a cafe is occupied by people without dogs (and there are plenty of free seats in the no-dogs-allowed area).

Now you know how a person with a disability feels when trying to find a park when designated parks are being used by assholes with no disabilities.

I hear you! What compounds the problem is the really short wheel spanners car manufacturers supply now. I think my car's spanner is less than 30cm long.

I was also caught out before and couldn't shift the wheel nuts and called a mate who came with a decent wheel spanner and we had the wheel off in no time.

Auckland Transport - TLDR: Clowns have zero logistical planning capabilities. Decisions based off rubbish analysis, GIGO. To be fair fullers have a large amount of accountability.

The poor peeps up Gulf Harbour way, only 3 years ago had a flourishing Ferry service with higher numbers than other overly serviced ports. now down 83% of ferry runs with 50% of those cancelled for bogus reasons, usually with zero notice. From similar to the brilliant Pine Harbour type ferry numbers, AT instead of forcing Fullers to use some of the Ferrys from Waiheke or other much better off services, they have turned the taps down to 7am and 9am. and no reliable bus links. Have to flip a coin on whether there rubbish laboring old Ferry (when it should be the most sea worth Ferrys in auck). What use is 9am. Outside using it as proof the ferry is not needed with more disinformation. The service offers access to some excellent local tourism at that. So they have stated they will shut the service down in in 18' replacing a 40-50min ferry run with a 120min Bus service which they said is comparable. Yet the planned Bus Station has now been cut, lol. another 30000 cars on the road, AT idiotic.

Hopefully they can break the GH service from the other 3 in the contract and put it out to tender, being profitable and successful prior, no shortage of commuters and visitors. I like the look of the wave buster fully electric vessels, plenty enough juice to service this community, hopefully the contract gets shredded and these guys take this profitable service.
