Having had several emails suggesting that I have to book flights with the $2,000 credit I had with Air NZ by the end of the year or I’d lose the money - including one as recently as a week ago - I finally booked a trip my wife and I didn’t really want to take on Tuesday, for next year.

Today, they announced the extension of the credits for another 2 years. 🤬🤬🤬🤬

Have you played there? Its actually quite a nice course. Designed to attract Tiger Woods hehe.

Rumours around the 999yr lease to only be used as a GC, some say was bought with alterior motives. I hope it stays, it makes for such a relaxing walk/hit, also I think for the locals and the property market deserve not to be flooded.

So much to do at Shakespere.

There is Kiwi in there now. They keeping on top of any stoat intelligence with the little buggers seal team able to swim lol.

Auckland Transport - TLDR: Clowns have zero logistical planning capabilities.

Reminds me of when I used to take the ferry to Half Moon Bay. The connecting bus would wait until the ferry docked - and then depart before any passengers had a chance to disembark. Every day. To then trundle around the suburbs empty, while spewing diesel fumes. What a waste of time, money, fuel, etc.

Zoom. This window starts in the middle of the screen and will periodically move itself back there, obstructing whatever you're trying to work on.

Stuff has "upgraded" the daily quiz, and it now scrolls the page every time you move to the next question.

I'm an avid gardener, come from a farm too, so I'm into weather

MetService today.  Fine until early afternoon, then cloudy with a few showers, possibly heavy. Easterlies, dying out this evening.

So why is the hourly rain meter showing 0.0mm/hr for every hour today? Been like that for months. YR has it. MS may or may not do.

This guy on Fair Go last night trying to justify parking infringement charges and increases for reminders/follow ups.

Failed attempt at embedding timestamp in BBCode, start at 2:52 or use this link:

That guy was a total *!@^

Trying to Justify $90 to send out a reminder by saying that he doesn't do that many of them, and he has to make a profit.

Also saying he welcomed a Disputes Tribunal hearing (like almost saying 'bring it on'). I'd hope the tribunal would put him in his place.

The way people in movies and TV show brush their teeth with an electric toothbrush. They do it like it was a manual brush, scrubbing it vigorously back and forth.

That net metering is not a thing in NZ. I have returned more power to the grid today than I have used, but I still owe the power company money.

Another war - it seems as if all the unresolved problems are crumbling out from under the stones at once these days. The whole thing garnished with natural disasters.
