I have an F10 535D already and am at the time in my life where I don't need the "poor mans" version any more :)
Finding the 4 year old that went missing 19 kms from home. You have to admire his stamina and determination to get that far. I guess his mother wont be impressed😀
Common sense is not as common as you think.

The thing that keeps coming up in my head, is the number of life-threatening obstacles he likely had to get past in order to make 19km. Everyone involved is exceptionally fortunate it ended as well as it did.
neb: Extrapolating the alarming shrinkage rate, by about 10pm he'll have been playing in the back yard all the time.
and his age is dropping as well, good example of how bad the media is now .

That's actually the first "rule" of searching. Do the obvious close places first. Bedroom, closet, cupboards, garage, back yard etc, then widen the perimeter. Quite a number of "lost" kids found in those sorts of places after parents have "searched".

The latest figure seems to be around 3.5 km, still pretty impressive for a kid that age. I wonder if it is also the IQ of the idiot 'journalists' who were publishing that he went 18 kms! Don't those people have any common sense at all?
Axle says he slept with some 'bunnies'. I wonder if those are the ones with long, thin tails?

After a couple of years of really tough-to-take nonsense in my son's sport, he's finally in a good place, having left the club that was jerking him around and being "poached" into a rival club at a higher level than what he was previously playing (and now being treated like a precious commodity, which is very flattering for him after the rubbish he's put up with for so long).
He's a very happy and much-changed young man at the moment, as he finally feels like he is needed/wanted in his chosen sport. And we're not being expected to pay out $1200 for the club season...much more reasonable fee structure with this new club.
