Gurezaemon:Keep a "freezer teatowel" nearby. When you want to speed-chill something, soak it in water, then wrap it around the drink and chuck it in the freezer - it seems to significantly speed up getting it down to an acceptable temperature.
The problem wasn't lack of cooling, it was too much, by the time the supposedly short job had finished, and the other one, and the other one, and the next one, the drink was excessively chilled. Luckily the bottle held up.
