Dear RNZ, if you must keep using pointless stock photos that have nothing to do with the stories you are presenting, either because you are too lazy or too impoverished to find meaningful illustrations, at least have the imagination to not keep using the same one over and over. Do you really think your readers are that stupid?

I would say the answer to your question has to be "yes, they really do".

I imagine the number of people this genuinely bothers is really really low. If that's the case, there isn't a lot of motivation to 'fix' it.

Why waste the space? They should fill it with pictures of Taylor Swift! Some people might then at least look at the article.

I'd look at the back of a police officer well before I'd want to see any side of TS!

I'm sure they could do a custom pinup of Christopher Luxon just for you!

I already said I was fine with the police picture.

It would already be helpful if they even used a different police picture once in awhile. That was my complaint.

Maybe *you* could request a picture of Taylor and Christopher, alternating.

Something really small that annoys me only a tiny bit is that my UHF antenna is pointing the wrong way. It is high gain atop a tall mast on a high rooftop on a remote farmhouse and should only be accessed by young people in top physical condition. That roof frankly terrifies me now and I wouldn't go near it though I did in the past.

I used to use the antenna in the good old days when Freeview still broadcast 5.1 audio before they cheaped out and reverted to only stereo (in most cases). That was the only reason I used it. Then the cyclone blew it around and it hasn't worked since. Sometimes I wish I could reorient it but it doesn't really matter that much. These days I get my TV through streaming.

Regarding the images on news articles, I set stuff to always be shown in reader view so as to get rid of all the bollocks outbrain or whatever

@Rikkitic I just had 3 officers live in the house. A gun inspection is much more "exciting" than a photo, because some idiot ran amok in the city last year. Quite a strange feeling without having done anything wrong.
