Passwords.

It was bad enough before. But in the age of Windows Hello and signing in with a 6-digit PIN, who can remember the unique password that they created 2 months and 3 weeks ago and have never used since? And which you have to enter so you can change it to something else that you won't use for another 3 months?

I think it's going to have to be Post-its again.

Bitwarden is great. But it won't do the Windows Login for you, will it?

No; but BitWarden on your phone will give you a secure mechanism for looking up your password, unlike a post-it note.

OK. However typing in a complex password anywhere is too hard, which is why I use BW to do this for me for apps and web pages. However for Windows login I am using 6 digit pins where I can.

Oh yes; I love the more modern designs that will actually show you the password entered (or allow it to be shown briefly), rather than the now "more traditional" must-hide-at-all-costs password fields.  Typing complex passwords on phones in particular is HARD.  And entering complex passwords on TV screens via remote controls is just PAINFUL - again, love it when the app designer has thought that through and lets you link a sign-in on the TV to the app on your smartphone...

Too many home projects and ideas and not enough time to progress them all.

Did somebody mention couriers ? Aramex, 3 parcels due Monday, and here we are, again...Maybe if I'm lucky, Saturday morning ?

And NZ post, 3 parcels, always used too get collected by courier early and delivered first run of the day, now its always the second run of the day (but still, touch wood, the day they say they will).

'used too get' 'used to get' - there was a time when I knew when to use to and too properly...

Thought it would be simple buying a back to wall toilet suite. Gave up after visiting plumbing place and getting dizzy with all the choices, one up to $10k. None of them comfortable to sit on with their arched seats and for $700 you can get one with the toilet seat not covering the pan rim properly, like the seat wasn’t made for it. How hard can buying a toilet be.

We're now at three 20-30 minute outages on three consecutive afternoons. There is no explanation for these outages on the provider's website.

At this point it probably warrants starting their complaints process.

Getting a couple of things from supermarket, see graded eggs, grab a pack. Watched a youngish woman going through and opening all the cartons to check them by turning each egg over. Wandered over to the yoghurts, turned back and she’s still there looking inside all the cartons. What did she think she would find, a hatchling?

My evil side emerged and I wished she would drop an entire open carton at her feet.

I would think she is just looking to see if any of the eggs are cracked. Why she wants to check all cartons I can't say, maybe some kind of OC thing?

We've had a Bunnings Mondella Concerto rimless model installed for 5 years and would buy it again. At $297 if I got sick of cleaning the hard water marks off it occasionally I could afford to buy another.
