networkn:I'd be emailing the CEO. In Australia, recently a CEO was imprisoned for injury to a driver as a result of failing to set and enforce standards for safe driving.

You could be saving someones life.

Being put through to a Diane Wilson, NO HELP!

Told cannot give personal info on who to be put though to!

Bloody hopeless!

Does anyone have the CEO in Australia's email?

That despite multiple calls to Woolworths over several months regarding their delivery trucks repeatedly ignoring the STOP sign in our Street,

and multiple assurances that it won't happen again, they continue to do it! Sometimes at considerable speed! It is a blind corner!

The call centre is more interested in trying to take my details than the offenders!

Get some video of this when you're out getting the parking photos, post to 'socials', let the mob do the rest of the work for you. 😃

Looks like Diane is the "Ecommerce Last Mile Fleet Manager", so should be the right person to speak with.

Don't let it go. My experience is if you push long enough and hard enough, they will go through the seven stages of denial and finally do something. Diane's response sounds like the worst type of corporate avoidance. Keep pushing if you feel up to it. You will ultimately get a result if you become a big enough pain.

YET. If you think you are impervious, then with all due respect, you are deluding yourself. A moment of someone not at their best,is all it takes.

Despite your protests and or inconvenience, this is being done to protect you and everyone else. (As are many things for all of us, even if we don't feel WE need it).

Anyway, it was your annoy thing, you can feel annoyed if you wish, I thought it might be helpful to provide some context to help you feel less annoyed, but I'll leave it there.

For the record, I don't think for a moment that I am smarter than the bad guys. Of course I'm not impervious. Neither am I a standardised package that fits neatly into whatever pigeon hole the corporate behemouth deems appropriate for me. On the basis of recent experience in this country and elsewhere (Mediaworks, anyone?), I am not inclined to place my security in the hands of anyone I can't control. I don't for a moment believe my email provider is any smarter than the bad guys either.

In any case, as I already pointed out, I can turn off all the spam crap. I just have to do it for each domain individually. Thanks a lot, email provider, for making me jump through a whole lot of pointless hoops for no purpose whatsoever!

Thank you for taking the trouble to give me context, but I will ask for that elsewhere if I feel the need. As you yourself point out, this is the annoy thread, not the please help me with this issue and give me advice and support thread. I was just expressing my annoyance, that is all.

When you see a divine looking Thai Beef & Pork sausage roll, advertised as 'gourmet' and priced accordingly, then buy it for your lunch and it tastes meh.

Never had a reply from Fair Go on any previous attempt!

Not worth the bother wasting my time with them again!

Beef pork and some other sawdust filler is what it should be sold as from experience with gourmet places.

Sky Sport and there silence over the IPL Tournament, i have contacted them twice to see if they are screening it this year. no one knows at Sky and it was only reading a column that i found out where i could watch it. It is on Sky but it is on the Hindu Color channel 151 and for $9 .99 extra a month. They raised the cost of sports and then make you pay even more for one of the biggest Sport events in the world. They are seriously testing my commitment to Sky .

It's the same as adding 'Professional' to your product name. Wow, it's better just with that.

In some cases it becomes farcical, e.g. the Three-dollar Shop tools labelled "Professional Choice" that look like kid's toys and that you know will break after five minutes use.

And everyone wins because throughput is maximised. If everyone would just leave a little bit of a gap and just drift back to let people change there wouldn't be all the compression waves bouncing back and forth in the flow which just slows the whole system down.

Unfortunately such benevolence is abused by those turkeys who are so important they need to get where they're going quicker than everyone else.

You know, those a**hats who will squeeze into that space in front of you even though there's absolutely no one behind you.

In a similar vein when following those lazy drivers using active cruise control in moderate to heavy traffic sitting in the right hand lane. The active cruise control creates a large gap which drivers in the left lane see so inviting that they keep moving into the gap thus, car by car, bit by bit, impede the progress of everyone following the car using active cruise control.

As each car hops into the gap the car with active cruise control slows down for a few seconds to re create the gap, thus also the speed of that lane keeps changing more than necessary.
