Getting LinkedIn 'contact' requests from recruitment agents who I've never met.

Sometimes I use big words I don't always fully understand in an effort to make myself sound more photosynthesis.

OmniouS:

That reminded me of those predator taxis that pull up every few minutes outside the Sky Bus pick up area in the Auckland CBD. Saying lines like 'there are no more buses running today'.... They get a few tourists who don't know it is a 24 hour service.

Although it is now a rubbish service that makes you change buses to get to the CBD...!

Mobile operators who fail to think ahead. Westpac stadium last night - no 4G (or any other signal) pretty much all evening.

The sign in Westpac stadium that proclaims Greater Wellington Council as "principle funders" of the stadium.

This implies that they are some sort of commercial operator, paying their own money.

The sign should read "Taxpayers of Wellington Region - Principle Funders"!!!

I was discussing this same thing with my brother when I was last there. Apparently that sign is on their corporate box.

Large overseas 'intrade' retailers who sell on trade me, who don't respond to questions on their auctions. I have noticed a few who just don't reply to pre purchase questions, which is a bit of a worry if you need after sales service.

People who can't distinguish between simple words like "principle" and "principal".

Maybe they didn't fork over any cash - they backed it as a matter of philosophy?

Buying shirts in a "good" retail store and find out buttons start falling after wearing them twice.

That's not a distinction since rates are simply a form of taxation.

In that case a kid buying lollies is a taxpayer, which he/she is. The distinction is those who pay tax to NZ and those who pay tax to the local Govt.
