Currently I have two sets of headphones used for different purposes.

The first are Skullcandy S21KW. I use these for listening to music and podcasts over bluetooth on my phone. The problem is that this model does not have a microphone so I can not use them for phone calls. That makes life rather difficult.

The second set are Sennheiser HD202. I use these for recording my radio programmes. The problem with these is that the leatherette/plastic coating on the headband and on the earpads is rotting and wearing them causes me to end up with little black specks all over my ears, head, and neck.

A replacement for either of them would be much appreciated. I could then, either listen to music and podcasts and answer the phone, and/or record my radio programmes without the fear of the black specks.

I've got some AKG K52's. Pretty cheap, but they sound nice. Massive cord though! I use them mostly for music and podcasts.

Brend:

Currently have the Sennheiser 4.50BTNC. I use it all the time for whatever purpose - music/podcasts on the phone, movies when in bed and wifey doesn't want to watch, teams meetings, etc.

And now with pic ... showing some running repairs

I use the Massdrop Sennheiser HD 6xx Headphones for my daily desktop use, plugged into a Asus Xonar Essence STX PCI audio card. I listen to music on Deezer and most videos via these headphones. I got them around 2016 from the US online store. They dont have a microphone, so I have a separate Logitech USB headset for work conferencing, plugged in to the PC at the same time. I just have to remember to switch the input each time I use each.

I own a pair of very basic and cheap Origaudio Beebop over-the-ear wireless headphones that I use for listening to music with my phone. I would really love to finally own a decent pair of headphones!

I have the standard Apple corded earphones that came with older iPhones. I watch Netflix, Youtube, listen to music, video call, pretty much everything with them.

Prefer over-ear headphones but my last set’s cord gave out and haven’t had the spare cash to get another. Any of these models would be awesome though, I’ve never owned wireless/bluetooth headphones/earphones.

I have the Sony Sony WIC310B Wireless In-ear Headphones.

I use them to listen to music on my iPod nano when I go for my daily walks. It would be great to have some truly wireless earbuds!

I have at least 2 sets of earphones: one that came with my smartphone to tune into the built-in FM radio, and another conventional one on my PC to avoid noise-polluting the neighbours.

I mostly use headphones for listening to music while I'm working on my computer.

I had a fairly nice pair of wired ones, and then stood up one day and tried to walk off with the still around my neck.

Half-strangled myself and the headphones shot off across the room to smash into bits.

So the picture is what the Technics headphones will replace.

I'm hoping the Technics will be a little more comfortable and the sound will be a little less tinny!

I have various headphones with different tasks which is frustrating.

  • Bose Noise cancelling for flying
  • Jabra wireless for work calls
  • JBL wireless for listening to music at home
  • AirPod for taking calls.

Love a headphone set that can be used to replace the above.

Logitech H390, currently use for office work - video calls etc.   Blue Tooth headphones would be used a lot more than the cable pones- listening to music and movies / TV at night (if I could keep my wife from stealing them
