Tickets for Auckland are now sold out. The waitlist is now open for that event. Still seats available for Wellington and Christchurch.

A reminder folks, that we still have some tickets available for Wellington and Christchurch... And please make sure you register now - so we can confirm numbers.

If we can't reach the numbers for those two locations I will have to rethink moving this to being an Auckland-only event.

I hope youdon't mean Auckland only in the future. I'd like to be at the Wellington event but I'm committed to be out of town at Easter. Any other weekend would probably mean Wellington would have sold out fast.

I agree. I know that clashing with Easter was probably unavoidable this year due to the difficulties with coordinating the availability of the venue and important attendees, but I'm quite sure that it would have significantly affected demand for tickets. In fact, I found myself having to toss up whether to head out of town for Easter or attend the Geekzone event (fortunately I chose the latter).

I seem to recall the event being well attended in Wellington last year.

It was... So much so that I thought of increasing numbers to 80 but it seems it will remain at 60.

Id booked 2 to Auckland GZ evening. Now only myself is coming.
Does that free up another spot for someone. Is there a process I can formally do this??

You have to contact me for a refund and so that someone else in the waiting list can be contacted.

Yes, you have to buy me all my beers on the night.  Then freitasm will refund you.  Quite simple really.

Are there many tickets left??? Any and all venues that is. I've got my ticket already and i'm looking forward to attending but others may still be out there wondering if they've got options. :-)

Just hit the links - AKL is full at the moment, but WLG and CHC still have tickets left.

I might have missed this, but what is the starting time? The Wellington event specifically, but I guess they are all the same start time anyway.

An update folks: just got word that HP is coming to the party, with one HP mini notebook per event to be drawn.

No more details at the moment (just got the news) and they are sending this to me soon, so I will post an update later.

If you haven't registered yet, WLG and CHC still have space, AKL has a waiting list.
