MadEngineer: Cooked tea early for my wife to take some to work only for some numpty to steal it from the staff room fridge.

I need to cook the same again but drench it in chilli sauce.

I always „lost“ my gummy bears quickly until I brought my favourite flavour from home: Habanero orange. 😈

Companies hiding their website/catalogue/etc behind a damned tradie only paywall. The "better" ones (and I use the term very loosely)  have a catalogue with no pricing, but quite a few of them you can't even see a catalogue without a trade account. Electrical suppliers seem to be the worst, and HVAC not much better.

You're thinking way too small scale.. unless they're a spice lover, they'll take a bite and stop eating. You want to put industrial grade laxatives in it.

To which I can only say "ptooey".

(Which, incidentally, is a charming little town in Slovenia).

I HATE the ones with no price. I work on the old saying "If you need to ask what the price is, you can not afford it" and go to someone else to spend my money with.

I'm not sure what actrually annoys me more: That a nursing mother took a very young baby to a comedy festival show, or that the comedian asked her to take it outside.

I'd be annoyed if I were the comedian and was being distracted by a noisy baby, but I also sympathise with the mother who wanted a night out (with that said, my wife and I simply didn't go out when we had babies).

The show was 15+, therefore the parents should not have taken the baby.

Also 7 month old babies can easily go for a few hours without their mother's milk.

I was annoyed that the comedian was described as "Flight of the Conchords star". He had a part in the HBO series but that doesn't make him one of the Conchords.

Yeah. Arj Barker is a comedian, who also starred in FoTC.

I fully support the comedian on this one. No different to bringing a car alarm into an auditorium.

A lot of routines need pace, and flow....take that away and the thing falls dead.

I would NEVER take a baby to shows like that. We had an agreement that we would alternate in that one of us could go and then the next for a different night out.

That way that article was written was annoying! i.e. who relies on her mum for milk (life). Stupid statement. News trying to get revenue.

If you go to a public place such as coffee shop / restaurant, then you'd expect babies and maybe some crying. But not at a R15 event...
