Bung: I don't know if this is same site you used but this was on reddit
"THIS BRAND IS A SCAM. They buy cheap glasses from Amazon and resell them at double the price. They are the exact same models as the kapvoe sunglasses on Amazon. I called them out and asked for a return and they gave me the runaround. Don't buy these!"

Funnily enough I had seen some ads on INstagram and Facebook and so did a bit of research and in general the feedback seemed pretty prositive, so I figured "why not".

Reddit questions and answers led me to believe that they erwe better value than their big-brand equivalents, so on that basis it's not a total bust.

They work, they didn't break the bank and despite not quite being what I thought I had paid for, they aren't completely terrible.

Purely based on search returns I got more results for kapvoe than saolar with Google trying to change saolar to solar. Which is the bigger brand?

Pretty much guarantee that if it's advertised on Facebook it's a scam.

My MyLotto subscription has ended and I'm greeted with a message "Sorry, MyLotto is currently unavailable on Firefox browsers."

I guess they don't want my weekly (minimum number of lines) Lotto investment.

I don’t think either could be called big brands, but my guess is they’re both reselling cheap Chinese stuff that is available without branding on both Temu and Ali X.

It's not an investment, it's a donation.

Hmm, that'll look funny on your next tax claim form.  Nah it's neither.  It's actually a stupid tax.

Don't worry, I'm stupid too.

MikeB4: The recent trend manufactures of toilet paper have started, gluing the start of the roll.... why for goodness sake, why?

I think some have always done this. But it seems to be worse these days. But what I have noticed the paper is a lot less tightly wound now, which means less paper on the roll. It seems to be a form of shrinkflation, without making the rolls appear much smaller.

Its not stupid if you only buy it when its a must win powerball, as thats about the only time the odds and prizes work out to a positive.

Interested to know what you mean by this. I would have put big money on the odds never changing regardless of the prize size.

The odds of getting a win don't change, but the odds of getting a larger prize (if you do win) do.

Must win means that the powerball will distribute down among other levels of prizes if noone gets it, and if you do the numbers it works out about a break even to win in those cases. Otherwise the odds are not in your favour as expected with a gambling product that makes a profit for the operators.

Someone set off fireworks at ~7:30. I'm not sure whether that's inappropriate. Didn't hear a bugle this time.
