MadEngineer: this variety is amazeballs

This should probably go across into the other thread, but unless you're a teenage girl you shouldn't be using that word in public, or at all.

Coping pretty well thanks🙂.  The young fella has moved to Perth (to go and work in the mines) where he doesn't know a soul yet so we seem to be chatting to him more now than we did when he was living here.  (He's also discovering quickly how expensive life is when you have to pay your own way.)

Sometimes I use big words I don't always fully understand in an effort to make myself sound more photosynthesis.

Went looking for a breadmaker, got one of these:

Breville the Multicooker 9 in 1 - Noel Leeming

Waking up to freshly cooked bread, especially of this variety is amazeballs

Prepare for an expanding waistline. I made some bread yesterday, it was gone in an hour. No amount of willpower can resist warm bread with melting butter.

Probably doesn't help that I prefer butter over marge

I saw your link and thought "I hope this is one of those old Marge ads". I was not disappointed!

Although my favourite was the one where the girl guides (?) are invading the hall at 7:30 sharp.

There used to be one very similar but had the line "oh no not marge" ... wish I could find it

Ah, here it is New Zealand pure butter 1993 commercial - oh no not marge! version 1 - YouTube

I still quote that line today

I'm a moderator of a different forum. I asked a question on there ("how do I do X on my computer?") and a spammer decided that a thread that clearly says "staff member" and "moderator" was a great place to spam a tangentially-related app. I took great pleasure in swinging the banhammer on that one :)

That the rule that luggage/possessions expand to use available space seems to apply to all the range rovers around my neighbourhood. Huge car but still not enough boot space as all have those roof capsule things...

Mean while we seem to cope with a ford focus without roof rack..

It's important to advertise that you're skiers. Else why would you have a 4WD?
