That I have waited a long time for Allbirds to make a wool runner in a half size, but the original colour I loved so much isn't present in version 2, and they have changed the shape and size so it's much more narrow and isn't nearly as comfortable.

That Auckland Council is introducing 24/7 parking fees, removing the one decent parking building in the CBD (Via sale) and doing almost everything it can, to make going to the CBD as difficult and unattractive as possible, whilst lamenting the fact people don't come to the CBD and spend their money. So freaking dumb.

Oh fudge!!! (Because I can't say what I really wanna say)...

The downtown car park is the best!!! I hope the prices don't go up too much.

Also, I'm somewhat peeved at the cloud cover tonight blocking another look at Aurora Australis. It was blimn freezing last night to get out! Tonights warmer but the cloud cover means it's not worth leaving home for.

Also jealous of that Amber Wood on the news who was smart enough to hop a plane from Kaitaia to Queenstown to check it out. Smart gal!

Would the extra staff payroll required to enforce it negate the revenue gains, even with the use of advanced technology?

"I regret to say that we of the F.B.I. are powerless to act in cases of oral-genital intimacy, unless it has in some way obstructed interstate commerce." — J. Edgar Hoover

"Create a society that values material things above all else. Strip it of industry. Raise taxes for the poor and reduce them for the rich and for corporations. Prop up failed financial institutions with public money. Ask for more tax, while vastly reducing public services. Put adverts everywhere, regardless of people's ability to afford the things they advertise. Allow the cost of food and housing to eclipse people's ability to pay for them. Light blue touch paper." — Andrew Maxwell

Buying some woodworking measuring tools from Bangood rather than Ali because unlike Ali they're curated, and getting an incorrectly-marked no-name instead of the Veiko (poor man's Woodpeckers) that I'd ordered.  Problem is that unlike Ali, Banggood's disputes process when something does go wrong is painful.

Don't stand on kinas.

The little purple spots are slightly amusing however

I wanted some allbirds, however I have wide and tall feet and they are just way too small.

Unfortunately if I may also share I've been using Bangood for 5+ years and spent nearly a grand if not more, and their quality has plummeted off a cliff the past year.
Bought bulk lot cables from them recently all faulty. Spent hours of wasted time with their support (needed video proof, must be uploaded to YT etc, very argumentative with me) I finally got a refund, stupidly bought another cable which failed within 2 days.

Didn't bother with refund. Disappointing.

I just switched from contact energy and now they are sending me marketing emails after the date that my address was moved!

Even offering me $400 credit is not enough to switch my broadband. No way thank you. And looking at the T&C's does not apply as I'm not an existing customer.

Travelling with limited access to chargers so keeping my two phones on low power mode. Not sure about my Android phone yet as the battery is newer but the same function on the iPhone turns that mode off when sufficienty charged. Just leave it on that mode please

It's like Bluetooth turning back on. I have a work iPhone that has software I use for job. I rarely make calls on it. I have a personal phone that I use for podcasts, music and obviously a phone.

Most of the time I have it plugged in, in the car as Android Auto is a big battery drain. But before that I would just have it paired. I have, on occasion needed to have the work iPhone paired to the car. But for whatever reason, the iPhone Bluetooth always connects over my Android. So I'm constantly switching the stupid Bluetooth off. A day later. Back on.

A person at work had this issue and it turns out there is more than one place to turn off the bluetooth on the iphone and only one of them actually works like you would expect.

It’s the control centre vs settings. If you swipe down on an iPhone and “turn off” Bluetooth from the control centre it doesn’t actually turn Bluetooth off. It just disconnects any connected devices but Bluetooth continues to run in the background.

if you really want to turn it off you have to go into the settings.

You reckon AE disputes process works OK? I was send something clearly different and lesser to what I ordered. The disputes process refused to do anything about it. Last time I used AE.

Same here, it's always worked.  Even going directly to (more reputable) sellers has resulted in replacement parts sometimes when the wrong item was sent.
