Wow, OK so last night I watched Jupiter Ascending and I have to agree with the majority of reviews, it was really average.

The story was long winded and protracted, some action scenes went for twice what they should have and by the end it felt like they were just doing it because they could, not because they added to the story. Much of the acting felt stale and rigid and their dialogue didn't help.

Overall I would give it 5/10. And most of the 5 comes from the beautiful scenes the CGI guys built up...

Avengers 2. It was ok. Like the ending of terminator 3 with a superhero spin, and the superheroes win. And Arnold is absent. And Dr strange and captain marvel are revealed in the end. And ultron was beat with something trivial

4/10

The Fast and The Furious. What a sad contribution to cinematography and I can't understand how it created a franchise with seven movies so far...

5/10.

I'm all for escapism and fast cars, but I just cannot get my head around the F&F franchise...just leaves me cold.

The Expendables franchise however, I could watch a hundred of.

Horses for courses.

x2 and i just saw the film !

not bad for a sequel, though this assemblage of avengers is all starting to get a bit tag team wrestling.

the vision needed more screen time, although having him show what he could do was better than talking heads.

I only watch what has been highly recommended by reviews
I only watch Blu Rays with 7.1 Custom-built audio - that adds a lot to the viewing experience
"Now I see you" - awesome
"Captain Philips" - very good
"Wolf of Wall Street" - very good
"Interstellar" - disagree with reviews - boring in fact
3 more BluRays hired yesterday ("crazy thursday" - $1 at VideoEzy) - have not watch them yet.

As long as the reviewer has the same taste as you, otherwise you may be missing out.

Kill Me Three Times
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2393845/

Quite enjoyed this.  Simon Pegg's black humor creeps in every now and again which is always great fun.  Story is put together slightly differently showing the same events, often repeated from a different perspective, clever I thought, and the story has a few twists and turns.  Great fun provided you can handle occasional gory violence (almost humorous).  7/10 from me.

The latest publicity has the wife interested in #7.  But before that she wants to watch all the others in order (story chronological or release date I have yet to decide) so she learns the background story.  Dusting off the original 2001 release will be interesting, but I am looking forward to a car racing and stupid action binge weekend before hitting the big screen for the latest.

Yeah, wait, what? Where were they? Think someone's getting mixed up... or didn't actually see it and is plucking bits out of pre-release theory and hype ;)

Avengers 2

Fantastic start but lost a bit of pace afterwards. Overall not quite as good as Avengers 1. I suspect with the Infinity Wars next on the plate - pace will not be an issue!
