If you buy a KitKat "Chunky" bar, the listed serving size is 52g (the entire bar). But if you buy the large block, the listed serving size is only 19g (one finger).

My small furry beast, who hangs out on the deck in the sun, then disappears for a few moments while I am on the phone and reappears covered in mud. 

I really didn't have time to be bathing him, but bath him, I must!

iPhones with glass back a great at this, particularly on the arm of a fabric chair. I can only assuming that they are actually sliding off the entire time, just so slowly you can't perceive it.

No. They just seem to slither off chair arms especially that other things - TV remotes for example - just sit on.
