I haven't seen 5th Gear for a long time but it always seemed very low budget.

Any format of TG obviously wouldn't be so the road tests, guests and articles would be on a completely different level.

Well to show I could be open minded I have watched some videos containing Sue Perkins. She seems funny and nice enough. I can see why she is a host in a cooking show and does comedy stuff.

She isn't Top Gear Primary Host material to my way of thinking, not even close. It would be awful, I think they should kill Top Gear if that is the best choice honestly.

It was only a rumour, and she hadn't spoken to anyone. Then she got death threats. :(

She was never going to play out well with the silent majority for a number of reasons. I suspect that her name was mentioned by someone wanting to make mischief.

Yup ..... that's our Monday early night in bed. Good old BBC iPlayer.

I was tempted to watch it live this morning at 7am, but thought I had better focus on the kids!

The only focus any kid would get from me at that ungodly hour would be the focus of a laser blaster...!!

of that 75 mins there were 2 challenges. that's all. 2 challenges. and they were the most boring and irrelevant "challenges" ever know to top gear.

Personally I'd like to go back to car reviews, 2 per show (One Expensive, one midrange) and a challenge, the news and not really caring for the star in a reasonably priced car, but if it stays it's ok.

At the end i was waiting for the coffin to be carried out, was more funeral than Top Gear

I really expected there would be some kind of insane killing off for Clarkson ala old stig styles
