gzt:
tdgeek: When companies intentionally rip us off. Classic example is Nurofen packaging. That is shameful.

That is unfair. Billions and billions of dollars have been spent researching the placebo effect in nearly every drug trial. Pharmaceutical companies have every right to a return on their investment ; p.

Sorry. :-)

pctek: Bad spelling/grammar in professional articles.

The word "like" being used 50 times (it seems) in a sentence.
Arksed instead of asked.
Idiot expressions like h "dissed" me.
The use of the word concerning (about) when they mean worrying.

But mostly husbands habit of never closing anything.
Cupboards, drawers, boxes (with hinged lids) etc.
Drives me nuts....

Closing cupboards is in efficient. And wears out the hinges.......

Agreed. Adults who use the word 'haters' without realising that it makes them sound as if they are six years old...! They should be put up against the nearest wall and shot. At once.

Almost any "smart" gadgets/things need about 1-10 hours of troubleshooting before they do what they are advertised to do.

Cars that drive down the middle lane of the Wellington urban motorway, when there is nothing in the left lane.

The motorway is changing with smart motorway so that you select early the best lane for your exit, it will reduce lane swapping and improve traffic flow

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

You forgot the main variable here: the driver. If the driver doesn't follow the recommendations (and they won't) then it won't work.

Helmuth von Moltke: "No plan of operations extends with any certainty beyond the first contact with the main hostile force." or in plain English "No plan survives contact with the enemy."

That applies to all our roads for one reason, NZ drivers believe rules are optional and they are personally exempt

New one.

Hotel booking websites with pop up calendars to enter your check in and check out dates that are illogically designed so that the check out calendar reverts to a date several months before the date you just entered for checking in...!

I recently signed off a text with an abbreviation of my name, 'Lin' and it went out with 'Lincolnshire'!
