Hi Everyone, its been years since I posted here on Geekzone. How is everyone? I don't remember any of you ether, but oh well im back for this thread, and Oh boy what a massive thread it is.
Long story short, I've recently had, just over %25 of the parcels I ordered from Aliexpress undelivered, that's 10 items to be precise, and im currently working through getting each one refunded using the dispute process.
Most of my parcels where "shipped" using CAINIAO / Yanwen I'm honestly starting to believe that these tracking numbers are simply fakes. All of my failed items where ordered on different days, yet the tracking on all these items say they arrived in the country on 2020-09-02 and of cause NZ post has no such records of these parcels arriving. When a parcel does actually arrive in the country NZ post never fails to deliver it, within 3 days to a week and for that I applaud them.
I'm on board with saying things have become much worse in regards to not receiving items ordered from aliexpress, in-fact I've recently started ordering things that are not sold locally in New Zealand, from amazon, sigh, yeah and its 3x the price.
My guess on whats happening is that alot of overseas people are simply taking advantage of the current situation, its everything from suppliers scamming sellers, to sellers simply being dishonest, by not shipping the item at all. Sometimes they will charge you extra to ship with a known reliable shipping company, then ship it with Yawen instead along with a fake tracking number. The whole thing is turning into a gargantuan mess.
Happy to share my personal experience and add to this thread.
Edit 'One more thing i forgot to add, all of these failed parcels had tracking numbers that actually expired before the buyer protection was up'.
