GSManiac:

Line of Duty - UK police drama show.

series 1-5 on Netflix. 5-6 episodes per season

series 6 currently airing tv1 and on TVNZOD

series 6 is currently airing here a week or so behind the UK and   most watched drama in the UK since 2008.

Each season seems to be relatively independent with enough small threads weaving throughout  to reward long term viewers. Simultaneously watching series 6 as it airs here while watching the older series. Finished series 1 tonight and started on series 2 and it’s all seriously gripping tv. Edge of your seat sort of stuff.

This show is amazing.

I'm currently revisiting King of the Hill (TVNZ On-demand). I used to watch it on live TV years ago but stopped somewhere around season 3 or 4. Now I see they're up to season 13 so thought I'd start again from the very beginning. Episodes are around 24 minutes long, great to use as a filler when I'm not quite ready to go to bed and want something short.

Big Shot Eps 1-3. Enjoying it so far. John Stamos a big wig Basketball Coach disgraces himself and ends up coaching BBall at a private girls school. I can see where it's going, but nonetheless enjoying it. Stamos has a reasonable acting performance throughout, fits the part well.

Mare of Eastown Pilot. Gritty, edgy, cringy. Keen to see Ep2

Mare of Easttown - EP 2 and 3. Wow, it's getting better. It's very Fargo like.

We figured we should get something out of Apple TV+ given we have it (without any desire to have it). We watched "The Morning Show" episode 1 last night. It seems pretty decent and amusing. I think we'll be watching the rest.

NSFW though, lots of F-bombs.

Work is Hell, according to two series.

Both are adult-only, NSFW. Rough language. Adult situations.

Live action TV series: "Your Pretty Face Is Going to Hell"

Youtube cartoon series: "Helluva boss" (again NSFW)

TV cartoon series: "Neighbors from Hell"

totally agree and you can pencil in Kate Winslet for best actress awards next year, she is brilliant. You can totally believe she grew up in a small american town and is not English.

To be honest, I agree, but I didn't even cotton on it was her for 2 episodes. Thought she looked kinda familiar, but she is a long way from Titanic.

There seems to be a new massive hit in the story every 10 minutes.

Binge watched Line Of Duty seasons 1 thru 6. IPlayer. 8/10

I started watching this a long time ago with season 1 and didn't really get into it but for some reason really enjoyed it all on rewatching.

Doesn't have the depth or atmosphere of say Broadchurch or The Fall but it's hugely entertaining. The interview scenes at AC-12 are simply electric.

The Interview scene between Ac12 and DI Lindsay Denton (Keeley Hawes) in season two episode 2 was very electric especially when the tables turned.

One of the very best of those interview type scenes IMO was at the end of season 2 of The Fall.

Gillian Anderson (police) interviews Jamie Dornan (serial killer) and gets inside his head so badly he just can't restrain himself.
