Ah, so you had a by-appointment place, this is a public one, very little in-clinic testing so far as they wait for supplies. Also this area is Place of Interest central...

I requested an offer to voluntarily terminate my employment contract that I really couldn't refuse! The signature is today and from January 1st, 2022 I am an independent private person who goes to the own home office (or maker space) every morning. This is 9 years before the regular retirement and I call it an excellent work/life balance. HR is happy for their headcount, I‘m happy, boss is unhappy. Mission almost completed. :-)

One of the guys I play games with does Covid tests. This amused me more than it should have:

Saw on Reddit : "I can't believe this is the same pandemic where you'll bought all the flour and toilet paper 'for survival' but now won't get the vaccine!"

I have captions on. At the 1pm covid update talking about daycare for essential workers, the captions read daycare for sensual workers :)

Watching Paul Coll win the Mens British Squash open (First time in history for the Men)! Beat the world number 1 and 2 to get there, as well. What a total champion.

Saw a post on Reddit that made me smile.

"Got my first jab today, it was time to stop being stupid"

What a simple and effective thing.

I love that we collectively cared, too.

Nothing worse than a new World Champ being relegated to the back pages...this was awesome to see and proper headline news!

Watching people lose their rag over the All Whites name. I'm fairly sure most of the people who are so heavily invested couldn't pick out Danny Hay from Kevin Fallon

FedEx just delivered my new Dahua Starlight IP Camera. (Went for a 4MP one as near the total bandwidth for my DVR)

Now the hard part of mounting and setting up! (Ordering is the easy part)

Ha! We all know Kevin Fallon is perpetually angry and Danny Hay played for Leeds.

Because it won't happen or because you don't care if they change the name?
