Don’t know if it has been mentioned here before, but StartUp starring Martin Freeman is excellent IMO. Recently start watching it - now bingeing. Fargo-like. It’s on Netflix.

Intergalactic. E1/2. Scifi. Psychopathic female convicts hijack a prison ship as part of a bigger plan. A police officer is framed and convicted for the same trip. Looks a bit lame in the first 30 min. Scifi space action takes off after the hijack. Continuity is not always the best. The action makes up for it. Good entertainment. Neon.

The Bridge Seasons 1 to 4 DVD 8/10

Swedish police thriller/drama with a quirky female lead and serial killers with some unique ways of murdering people.

A few laughs thrown in so well worth a watch.

Was tired and bored yesterday afternoon and put on Ted Lasso -Apple TV. It been out for 9 months and never really fancied although i like football but thought the Americanisation would ruin it.

I was wrong. Great story arcs, great characters, lots of little references to uk culture that gave me a giggle.

Binge watched the whole season and can't wait for season 2 in July.

We figured we should get something out of Apple TV+ given we have it (without any desire to have it). We watched "The Morning Show" episode 1 last night. It seems pretty decent and amusing. I think we'll be watching the rest.

NSFW though, lots of F-bombs.

Its actually pretty good. Jennifer Aniston is still just as stunning as ever imo.

It was pretty good. There are some definite Sorkin-eske elements (if Sorkin could write roles worth a damn for women) and it handles some of the ambiguity of the subject matter in a reasonably deft way.

Billy Crudup is an absolute joy and looks like he's having a blast the whole way through.

Recommended.

I'm hoping that the second season of the Morning Show isn't far away. I'm guessing that it'll take a few months given that they're promoting Ted Lasso for July.

I'm eagerly awaiting season 2 and very disappointed that there hasn't been much news on that front.

I agree about Crudup - he just seemed to revel in that character...you wanted to smash his face in and be his best friend at different times (and sometimes at the same time).

Great character portrayals all round, in my opinion.

Watched the first two episodes of Utopia on Amazon Prime. So far, not at all what I was expecting.

Lots of fairly large names associated with this and to be honest, it's got me quite intrigued.

Ragnarok on Netflix. Interesting take on a hero story. Give it a 6.5/10

He starred in the first season of Fargo if I remember correctly.

i take it this is the American remake. I cant bring myself to  watch it as the original is one of the best tv series i have seen and i dont want to be disappointed.

I don't actually know of it's a remake, but yes - it's American.

I'm actually losing interest. It's muddled and a bit boring for my liking.

Really liking Ozark at the moment.  So refreshing to see Jason Bateman in a non-comedic role.  He always played the straight man in comedies anyway, so not out of place in this type of role at all.  Very suspenseful show, about a money launderer who gets mixed up in a plot to rip off a Mexican cartel and has to move to the middle of nowhere to try and set up a new laundering ring, with the threat of death to him and his family coming from all sides.  Some great dialogue too.

Talk about late to the party, but I only started getting into this a couple of weeks ago.  6 Episodes in I'm thoroughly enjoying it.  I like the variety of characters, the out-of-the-frying-pan-into-the-fire main plot alongside the other side-plots and character development, and as stated above, some clever dialogue.

Sometimes I use big words I don't always fully understand in an effort to make myself sound more photosynthesis.

Line of Duty UK.

3 Seasons completed. Overall, I am really enjoying it, though I am finding some characters feel poorly cast or things feel a bit... off? Perhaps it's the British style or something.

My attention is wandering in the 4th season, struggling to find the story that interesting.
