Cleaning the eves of our house
- The cobwebs don't come off with a duster and instead stick to the white surface
- The cobwebs have collected dust, pollution or other detritus which makes them brown
- As you wash this away the white eves become browned as the dirt is washed out of the webs
- About the only convenient way to clean it is to use an extending brushed window cleaner
- Try using one of those with water going everywhere
- It's well used so the hose randomly pops off
- My keyboard arms are not designed for such a task
- I'm doing it in the day so hopefully up any water that may go into places it shouldn't will quickly dry
- It requires several passes of brushing to apply the soap, allow the soap to start working then start washing it away
- The small water drips that bead up on the white surface have dirt and these need to be washed away as part of the multiple passes
- Even in the evening the sun is still high and bright and somehow always exactly where I'm trying to look
- There's a magpie in tree laughing at me
