The fact that Google Maps is incapable of finding addresses that it autocompletes for you.  So it gives you the address, then tells you it can't direct you to the address it's just given you.

Breaking a tooth creating a very sharp corner that acts as an efficient tongue shredder…on a Friday night when you can’t call to get an appointment at dentist and have to put up with it until Monday.

Wondering if there’s any temp stuff you can bung into the gap for a couple days.

Blunt tools and utensils.

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?

Why do our media insist on talking about someone 'performing an indecent act on himself'? What a convoluted tangle of words to not actually say something when we have just one word that says it perfectly well?

Hey, I just performed a verbal act on myself!

As Hobbes once said, maybe we can eventually make language a complete impediment to understanding.

Maybe it’s obfuscated so that they reduce the risk of getting caught by this.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

Apple Carplay not working. The Kia says to try a different cable but a USB-A to USB-C I have at hand makes no difference. I wish I could tell when I updated the version as this could be the first time I've connected since iOS 18.3.1 came out. Searching via Google didn't find others with the same problem following the release, so maybe a new cable tomorrow will fix it

I had a rental car this week and Android Auto was problematic. It would connect but not give me the prompt on my phone to connect.

After an hour I noticed a setting in the standard car entertainment saying restore to default. Voila, connected instantly. I mean it wasn't my car so I'm not sure what else it reset but it wiped the previous three connected phones or so.

I found another cable and wanted to test it again before having to buy a new one. I restarted my phone, tested the existing cable, which worked! I wish I'd thought to try that yesterday when I wanted it.

People mock the helpdesk when they ask if you've tried turning it off and then on again, but...

Do you have a regular dentist? I have been going to the same dentist or his successors for almost 60 years. They've all said the same thing. If I  have a tooth problem contact them rather than trying to find someone else. If it is a weekend they'll just be swanning about spending some of the money I've paid in the past 😄

Performing an indecent act is what he was charged with. At this point, the exact details of the event aren't established so anything else is really just hearsay. The media has a responsibility to stick to the facts.

Somehow I don't think he was sticking a hedgehog up his bum. From the article it is pretty obvious what he was doing. How many indecent acts are there anyway?
