I cant think of any time I would tell someone that I was wanting payment by cash and not expect to get actual cash because that is what I asked for.

The only kind of non cash use for cash sale that I can think of is to distinguish from an on account sale at somewhere like a building supplies wholesaler where the usual method is on account.

i.e. cash sale means not on the account, but could be actual cash or credit card etc.

Clusters of failures.

In the last two months:

  1.  One of the septic system pumps failed
  2.  The main water pump to the house failed
  3.  The dishwasher failed
  4.  One of the cctv cameras failed
  5.  The hot water cylinder failed dumping hundreds of litres of water all over the bedroom carpet

 Enough, already!

The person who teaches the Police the bizarre way in which they speak English.

“It appears the motorbike has been travelling at speed around the corner where they have slid out onto their side into the opposite lane.“

There is ONE motorbike, which means that ‘it’ slid onto ‘its’ side.

What was the motorbike doing out on the road by itself?  Clearly it doesn't have the skills to be riding without supervision.

"I proceeded to the premises and commenced an investigation into the range of possible suspects for consumption" -> I had a scan through the burger menu at McDonald's.

I suspect this is one of those silly neutral gender phrases used where the person speaking doesn't want to use him or her. Actually it should refer to motorbike rider after all the motorbike isn't capable of getting into such a predicament all by itself (or should that be all by their self 😎).

I had a dream two nights ago, where I woke up shouting "The robots are coming". I remember nothing else about the dream. Perhaps they are already on their way...

Yes, I'm. And my masters are thinking of other ways I can be more helpful.
