Do you have a pacemaker? 😉
No. Only a pyrolytic carbon heart valve! Fortunately.
👍 Apparently you are very fond of pyrolytic carbon and it (rightly) makes your heart beat faster. So be careful anyway! 🙂

Auckland University incident: Five people hurt after car mounts footpath, hits pedestrians
Good thing the road-to-zero crowd got the speed limit lowered to 30kmh on that street otherwise there could have been serious injuri... oh, wait a minute...

Buying some fairly hard-to-find 90-degree 3.5mm Phoenix Contact connectors and finding, after they arrive and a lot of careful measurement, that what was needed was 3.81mm (1/235th of a cubit or some other weird imperial measurement) and not 3.5mm as they appeared at first inspection, meaning another long delay while the replacements arrive.
(This is a non-US product so I have no idea W/T/F they were using non-metric connectors).

I suspect this is one of those silly neutral gender phrases used where the person speaking doesn't want to use him or her.
Really ?

Yes, really. But not for ‘woke’ reasons, more likely for legal reasons. Misidentifying someone may lead to a case being dismissed (IANAL).

If that's the case there is no need to describe it's as a "silly gender neutral term".
It's just a neutral term.
Someone in my household does not click the toothpaste cap back on so it develops an unsavoury crust. It's not that hard, just click the damn cap on!
Far be it from me to say anything though.
Whether someone likes or dislikes 'they' being used in this way, it is most definitely not a new thing - it's been used to refer to individuals going back at least as far as 1375.

Train station at Kingsland was full. "train delayed, due to another train on the same track".
Game finishes, take a slow walk to the train station across the road. Wait for a lengthy period to then get on a train that apparently was a special service, only stpping at one station on the way to Britomart. Three quite lengthy stops later, we arrive at Britomart Station.
Slow, unreliable, unperprepared.
And they wonder why people want to use cars...

I went thru that getting the ones for the back of my matrix switcher for the audio inputs but I think it was the other way around. And then I ordered a whole lot of 5 pin ones but one of them needed 6 pins (2 3pins actually) so it was again another long wait.
How bad Google search (and other website searches) have gotten.
Searching for example : Bluetooth heaset with good mic and sound quality returns results for devices near the top of the list (and in some cases, top of the list), that don't even HAVE Bluetooth.
Another example: Intel 258v Notebooks. In that list are mostly notebooks from the prior Intel generation and EVEN some AMD ones (with no mention of 258v at all).
