My cat pees against my monitor so I have covered it with a protective screen. Then I noticed that the screen was getting very messy. I finally figured out that my cat is licking it! This post could also go in the smile thread but I decided it is more of an annoyance.

Definitely, at least for me, it would be far more into this category than the other.

There isn't much worse than the smell of Cat pee.

The smell and presence of cat sh*t in my yard is pretty very annoying, particularly since I don't own a cat.  Sooner laws are passed that cats must be kept on its owner's property the better.

... and don't get me started on the damage they do to the native bird population (and yes I know they also keep the rodent population down).

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?

This sounds like a big problem.

Our cat might be having a bit of similar behaviour. Is quite elderly and sometimes instead of peeing in it's litter tray in the laundry it goes into a closet and pees on any clothes left on the floor. Have put a litter tray in there and that seems to have that situation covered.

So a dog that leaps off the couch and barks at any cat on the tv is just a good judge of character.

Interesting how this works. Our old dog (gone now), couldn't care less about whatever was on the screen. Our new dog, on the other hand, will jump and go to the TV if another dog is on the screen. And if the dog goes out of the screen, she walks around the TV cabinet to check behind it.

Our old dog used to do the same. He would look around the TV cabinet for ages after a cat/dog/cow had left the screen. He also hated any form of violence on the TV, he would start shaking and whining if there were any fight scenes or even suspenseful music or background sounds.

We look after Lulu the tv watcher when her owner is out of the country. She doesn't need to see the cats as she has memorised the opening notes of the ad music. If it is a wet day Lulu loves watching repeats of Country Calendar.

Install a piece of software, from a large hardware manufacturer in early 2024, version 2401.

Automatically check for updates [X] is checked.

Click [CHECK FOR UPDATES] every now and then.

Nothing.

Just in case, download from website and install.

Version 2505.

And it shouts "Your hardware has firmware updates" when it starts.

TSB. They really are useless. They are threatening to close our accounts because we haven't supplied some KYC crap that was emailed to them 3 weeks ago. Everytime KYC is a crap shoot with these clowns.

Fast food commercials annoy me. I don't enjoy watching people stuff crap into their mouths. I don't want to watch people eat.
