TSB. They really are useless. They are threatening to close our accounts because we haven't supplied some KYC crap that was emailed to them 3 weeks ago. Everytime KYC is a crap shoot with these clowns.

Oh good. Going through a password reset results in a message "Success.  You've successfully reset your password and you can now login." with no idea what the password has been reset to. God they are useless.

That in NZ, the front page of the Herald online has an article about what Nicola Willis wore when she delivered the budget.

This is what constitutes front page news!? God help us all.

A burning rubbish bin at the main railway station would be more exciting. 😁

This could have gone in the Dumb NZH Headlines thread but I’m putting it here. I really take exception to this NZH headline. Do they seriously think our brains go to pulp when we stop working? It’s insulting and condescending ageist sh*t. Shame on them - they should know better.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

I'm completely relaxed about that. Because even if they are wrong, eating healthier is NEVER harmful! Especially not if you have lost the thread of proper nutrition, as the increase in civilisation diseases proves. 😉

I don't know, based on the various links my father sends to our group chat (exclusively MSN, Stuff, NZHerald), this kind of article would be right up his alley.

Runit League. What a stupid harmful activity.

We can so so incredibly dumb as a species sometimes.

.. and now it's no longer just annoying, it's heartbreaking😢

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?

Is encouraging people to do stupid dangerous things a crime? Serious question.

Extremely regrettable. However, the principle always applies: if you put yourself in danger without calculating, you could die.

A young colleague, head of department and father of a family fell while free climbing the day after my last meeting with him.

johno1234: Is encouraging people to do stupid dangerous things a crime? Serious question.

In cases when you know it stupid and dangerous and you know you are putting people in danger, yes that is a crime in many cases.

Please note that I'm not commenting above in relation to any recent or current case which I have absolutely no idea about. The recent tragic case sounds like copycat kids and not anything criminal from the very little I've read.

This isn't an annoyance, but there isn't somewhere better to put it.

Ali Farag, my favourite squash player, probably of all time, announced his retirement effective immediately. I'll really miss him. The gold standard for sportsmanship on the court and a shining example of conduct off it too.

I hope what comes next for him is everything he wants and hopes it to be.

The retail price of furniture at The Warehouse. I get annoyed every time I'm in the furniture section.

This beside is on sale for $186 (100% MDF)

I feel your pain. We are with Kiwibank, and if things weren't so complicated I'd change to a 'real' bank. All of the things that made them attractive at the start are gone, and left behind is all the fees and expense of a 'real' bank, with none of the service, standards, or behaviours of a real bank.
