If this was New Zealand the cumulative sentencing discounts would have seen him out for time served.

I know I have already mentioned it before but AI voices on YouTube. Born in the mid 50s so the war was still pretty recent growing up so lately I  have been watching quite a few WW2 documentaries on YT but it really rankles me when I hear the voice getting it wrong. A Messerschmitt ME 109 is not a me109.

Maybe in general it might be ok but when you are presenting a factual doco it annoys me. A bit like news presenters dropping the letter T. Pray tell where is Canerbury? 😁 I feel like a grumpy old man moment coming on, lol.

There are too many big words in the world (and too little character).

- NET: FTTH & VDSL, OPNsense, 10G backbone, GWN APs
- SRV: 12 RU HA server cluster, 0.1 PB storage on premise
- IoT:   thread, zigbee, tasmota, BidCoS, LoRa, WX suite, IR
- 3D:    two 3D printers, 3D scanner, CNC router, laser cutter

When you buy a thing from AliExpress, and it arrives with no battery for the remote and absolutely no indication anywhere what type of battery it needs. Other than obviously one of those flat round ones.

Listing usually tells you, but I would suggest its a 2025 as that is what most of these card remotes take. A 2032 may go in but jam.

As soon as I hear that I stop playing the video. Usually such commentary on the video also sounds like it was AI written

Dropping the T is definitely a gear grinder for me - that and saying “couldn’t of” or “couldn’t ‘ve”.  Jacinda was chronic for that.

You're not on Atlantis anymore, Duncan Idaho.

Windows 11 installation country selection does not provide first letter search or a search box. Scroll down to New Zealand..

Three and a half years after I supplied feedback on it and was told they're working on it, My Food Bag has still not bothered to put a print stylesheet on its recipe pages. Trying to print the recipes causes them to be truncated.

So painful I gave up trying to print directly; if I could be bothered, I'd copy/paste into word and go from there.  Don't use MFB at the moment.

Used these guys for a while - it was a good quality product a few years ago when they started, but the QC even on the recipes got to an abysmal level such that some of the recipes it was difficult to work out exactly what was required becuase they clearly hadn't been proofread. It went from originally being a good experience to incredibly frustrating to prepare a meal, so gave up on them.

Tradies whose idea of site cleaning is to use a leaf blower to move their crap onto the next door property.

Thanks to the roofers next door I had to clean up a path worth of old roof paint flakes, bits of rusty metal and general crap they'd just blown under the fence.

Four years in an American prison is a pretty long time. From his grovelling letter to the judge, I think he was hoping for less.

He won't serve 4 years though.

Bloody roofers! Consider yourself lucky they didn't blow all the tyre puncturing metal off-cuts and screws onto your driveway!

Luckily my driveway is on the complete opposite side of my property to where they were working and it's just a path and some lawn.  And yep, had to pick up at least a couple of roof screws so far.
