Fortunately it hasn’t caught on here, but the really annoying carry on practice I’ve seen in the states is people putting their roll on cases in the first empty overhead locker they see, regardless of where they’re sitting. So if you’re in a row near the front of a section, often as not all the bins are full of the bags of passengers sitting near the back.

This happens here too. Not as frequently, but some idiots do it.

AirNZ just need to police it. If people would just bring one confirming bag in it would be ok.

gzt:
Handsomedan: Windows 11 (new laptop, just upgraded). Everything worked on Friday. Now I have a litany of issues.

The snipping tool issue sounds windows store related. Email, which program?

Both also sound similar to potential corrupt profile scenarios.

Instead of fighting the battle I'd suggest using the windows 11 wipe feature. That will have you starting with a clean 11 install and eliminating all possible upgrade related issues. Else you could logon as admin and delete your profile then log in again. Data loss in warnings apply..

Rather frustratingly, Windows Store simply came up with “the latest version is downloaded and installled”. Think it might be a corrupt file. That’s a tomorrow job.

email is outlook.

We first noticed the "internet" outage when D&D Beyond started playing up.  Luckily the D&D map system is locally hosted so that aspect still worked, just meant the character sheets were a bit hit or miss to look things up.

Still a good session though.

AWS has just had another outage. Certain sites like Reddit & Steam are returning "too many requests" or words to that effect.

Yeah my colleague whom I flew with and had a higher status than me, would often yell out, whose bags are these when he found his overhead full. Funnily enough down in the twenties there was usually room for my laptop bag provided I got on in time 😂

Microsoft pretend that they know something about AI but Outlook can't even filter out phishing emails with misspelt variations of "cloud storage" in the title.

People at work logging change requests that don't say what they're changing.

Does anyone know who's behind these suspicious phone numbers? Once again, reverse lookup draws a blank.

Not sure if it helps but Truecaller shows all numbers coming from Symbio Wholesale Ltd.

Well known for hosting these numbers. Probably compromised accounts.

IIRC, Symbio Wholesale is just the middleman.
