Tourists going 25 in a 60 because they're ogling the sea instead of actually driving.
I was going to say 'coming down the twisty bit into town ?', but 60 would be a bit much in that case.
On the plus side, living somewhere that tourists want to come too.

I look forward to the announcement 18.3billion will be spent on railways.

It was not stereo and not even hi-fi. Stereo was not invented until the '30s. It's a pair of mono headphones receiving mono radio broadcasts.
I remember in the 1950's when stereo just started to be hyped as the next amazing thing. At that time we already had a few FM stations as well as the usual AM selection. One of the networks, which had affiliates with both, did a few demonstration stereo broadcasts by transmitting one channel on their AM station and the other on their FM. Wow! You could actually hear a train go through the room! I don't recall anyone complaining about the fidelity differences.

Our Samsung has this. So annoying and the voice often picks up wrong instructions because there is other noise in the room. Peace arrived when I added a Dish android box with a decent remote to it.
I don’t care if it looks cooler and streamlined without buttons when it’s not helping me input without irritation.
Ditto Apple TV box remote which has a cursed sliding feature remote that you can’t get any precision with as you swish fingers over it and it misses the target. Frustrates the hell out of me so much that I throw it down and have mostly stopped using that box. Who dreams up these ideas and don’t they give them to testers first.

Yes that Apple TV swipe remote is a total PITA.
Are you aware that, depending on the model of the remote, you can turn off swiping in the settings - and set it to ‘click only’? Makes it tolerable to use.
Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

The lack of basic transport controls is what really annoys me, yet they seem to be quite happy to fill the top half of the remote with number buttons that seem to serve no actual purpose. Cant use them to enter text with T9, cant even type numbers with them. They just exist for not good reason other than incase you choose to use the inbuilt tuner to watch legacy broadcasts.

I ended up buying a silver remote from AliExpress to replace the black remote on one of our Apple TVs. I use the swipe feature but the silver remote is so much better to use than the black swipe only remote that it was worth the money.
It's our daughter's TV and I didn't realise that the remote had voice controls. Probably should have read the manual, but I'm not sure it actually came with a paper manual. Dr Google will know.
Might try the spare remote from our old Samsung to see if that works.
gzt: "Made in New Zealand from local and imported ingredients"
Is that 10% NZ or some other number? How does anyone know what percentage range and where from.
Reading the other packets today I was really surprised how many frozen veges are coming all the way from EU to NZ.
Yeah, that really bugs me. It's an easy out for manufacturers who can't be bothered to identify how much is local. Probably 70% water is local.
I'd prefer local sourced, or local made, and would pay a bit more if I am aware of the correct NZ made/ sourced portion
Australia has the right idea, where they have a small sliding scale on the package that gives an approx percentage that is Australian local.
I am experiencing pain levels 8-9/10 and being told by my medical centre that the earliest appointment is three weeks away.
Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

Ambulance!
I agree. That's A&E material.
I have a couple of friends with pain management issues that have turned to medicinal cannabis gummies and find them so much better than the more conventional prescription pain meds.
