I hate it. Lawns are pointless wastes of land but I can't do anything else with it. Facebook is now showing me a crapload of ads for a robo mower that has tank like tracks and actual blades, so perhaps there is hope. Not seen how bad the app for it is yet tho.

There is nothing pointless about that feeling of freshly cut grass coming up between your toes when you walk barefoot across the lawn that you had just mown.

People that buy a well-kept property with nice lawns and gardens and then let them grow wild. Why buy the property if you have no intention of looking after it?

If I was the sole decision maker in my household the lawn would long ago have been converted to massive garden beds...

Which you then have to selectively weed, mulch etc

I'd love to dig out the lawn, place a couple of paths through it and flood it with wildflowers and bee friendly plants such that grass doesn't get so much as a look in but I doubt the neighbours would appreciate it.  I tried doing this with some seeds in a patch of dirt around some roses about this time last year.  Now the flowers that remain are mostly impressive yet the grass that's come back amongst it is defended by the thorned roses.

Plus I'd be dreaming to think I'd be able to keep out the grass.  Most weeds are fine as they can be pulled out.  Grassy-weeds not so much

Bought a dining bench to go with the table and chairs from Harvey Norman in the weekend.

It was a long hard search for the right one...once we found it we paid slightly over the odds for it, but was what we wanted, so we went for it.

Once we'd got the legs on, we found it wobbled slightly.
I measured the legs thinking they were perhaps uneven, but no...all identical.

Turns out it's very slightly warped. When sitting on it, it's OK, but without weight on it...back comes the wobble.
Incredibly annoying.

Waiting for 20 minutes to speak to ANZ bank. Pay for some more people to answer the phones.

Are you crazy? Can't impact those AU$30 billion AU banks are going to profit this year.

For all its faults there's one thing about Kiwibank that is very good - I have an account manager who is an actual human being that I can call on the phone. If he doesn't answer he calls back, and he answers my emails.

It may get worse. Assuming it's not your floor, try it in the other direction, take it back for replacement. Not that taking things back isn't annoying.

Definitely not the floor - it's been in several different places to confirm. Alongside the chairs that don't wobble and never have.
Taking it back is such a pain...and it'll work without wobbling when sat on, so that's the main thing.

Does the leg fixing method lend itself to shimming the short leg?

Bung:

Possibly - although the fact that the legs all contact the ground at the same time when the bench is sat on would lead me to believe it's a warped top/frame, which means that a shim would be a fix where one is not strictly necessary. If you know what I mean...

A printer requires a config tool to set it up on the network.

Googling for the utility by name doesn’t yield any downloads

One result is for the manufacturers website with instructions titled how to download said tool.  Step one is to open your browser and navigate to their site. I’m already on your site and there’s nothing that matches the instructions. Why couldn’t the instructions provide a link?
