Boxing Day sales emails since Sunday.
I don’t think that’s unreasonable.
Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

Our garage door decides 1.5 days before the break to throw a hissy fit. Hopefully my wife can fix it when she gets home. I cannot get into the garage except through the front door.
Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.
Which door does the car use? Maybe your xmas present is hidden out of your reach 😁
Drivers turning right at T junctions who feel that executing the turn at 90 degrees and within the road markings is entirely optional.
In particular, those who don’t seem to mind turning across my lane when I’m on a motorbike waiting to turn right out of the junction.
One of these lackwits missed my front wheel by all of 6 inches today.

It turns out that one of the counter weight springs have broken. It has flown across the garage but missed our 2nd vehicle and my mobility scooter.

Lucky it didn't break while you were in the garage.
A friend of mine got hit by a spring when it broke. He was very lucky that it was just a small piece of the spring.
Do you have tilt-a-door style doors with a tension spring on each side attached to the support arms? They have a history of flying around if they break. They should be fitted with a flexible cable through the middle of each spring. This used to be common knowledge but sectional doors with the spring contained by the axle have become more common.
The videos showing safety cables now are for a different spring arrangement at ceiling level but the principle is the same. Cable as long as fully extended spring through middle of spring and secured at each end.
About 40 years ago a friend of mine was hit on the head by a breaking door spring and has been subject to seizures ever since.

This because motorbikes (and pushbikes) and their riders are completely invisible to a particular class of car drivers
😞
And pedestrians.

It's all drivers/humans. The Human brain is programmed to be alert to the greatest risk. While driving the brain tells itself the greatest risk is cars, buses and trucks. It is often not intentional but generational genetic coding. The concept of "look again, look again" in the road safety video is developed from this and trying to supersede the genetic coding.

PayPal, for automatically setting up a "passkey" without any warning, and then having the gall to send me a "Thank you for creating a passkey" email. I've never been clear on how these things work and I hope I'll still be able to log in from other computers.
Pretty sure it prompts you to do this first during login

They’re dangerous. Have had a tilt door spring break on me. It almost embedded into the back wall.
