Companies that don't bother to publish their holiday hours. I ordered something from an NZ retailer six days ago and they've yet to do anything with it. Or maybe this is their normal, non-holiday level of service, in which case, yikes.

Same goes for cafes etc. which either don't publish their holiday hours at all, or only put them on a website which requires the user to register an account in order to simply view the hours of operation.

A lot of businesses probably put their holiday opening hours on social media as it's easier than updating their web site. Unfortunately that's not helpful for those of us who are Facebook refusers.

Assuming that everyone is on Facebook is something small that really annoys me.

Same - ordered something on NYE (camping chairs). They've taken my money, I've heard nothing since.
Worried I won't get them now - they were a really good deal and they've gone from their website now (and another retailer had the same ones at the time and they've gone from there too).

Did they update their google listing? I will 1 star places that say they are open on google but are not, they obviously do not care enough to update it so they dont care about anything else on their google places either.

Correction: It actually shipped yesterday but they didn't bother to tell me, despite saying "We will send you another follow up email once your order has been dispatched." The package turned up today.

I'm pretty sure our bathrooms scales have developed a fault.

So many businesses don't even bother to claim their business listing.

Silly UI designs on the iPhone that see likes of url areas move when you click to edit them, so you hit a suggested site rather than edit/enter new content.

Or the iPhone app store where to update apps you have to scroll down a bit to get to what should be a very prime / regular use item.  Likely on purpose to gain engagement.

Then they don't care about it so they should have no problems with the 1 star review to warn people of inaccurate information.

Was wanting something for the garden on New Year's Day so I checked Google for the Mitre 10 opening times. "Holiday hours" was the description for New Year's day with no reference to what that means. 🤷‍♂️

Sometimes I use big words I don't always fully understand in an effort to make myself sound more photosynthesis.

Yeah I shot myself in the foot with that at least a couple of times during the holiday period. In one case arrived at a Mitre 10 a week before xmas to find it had closed early that particular day for a staff xmas party.
