KiwiSurfer: Why not check thier own website -- just a few seconds I found the hours for my local store including excact hours for upcoming public holidays.

I don't know about the specific example but..

Many chain stores don't make nice high ranked pages with hours for each branch. Instead they force the user through some multiple click non-mobile friendly map selection craziness just to find branch hours.

In the not so bad category get a head start with the staticish page for Mitre10 Silverdale (random example) and get to the hours for that specific store on chrome mobile - https://www.mitre10.co.nz/mega-silverdale. Pretty messy.

Or the iPhone app store where to update apps you have to scroll down a bit to get to what should be a very prime / regular use item.  Likely on purpose to gain engagement.

Press and hold on the app store icon. Select update from the pop up menu.

Not really annoying for me since I banned HP but: HP brings Microsoft Copilot to printers.

Thought we'd treat ourselves with some lazy delivered pizza.  Pizza Hutt website gives me an error on their credit card processing page and to call my bank.  So I call the bank who advise they've not seen any transaction attempts.  I then call the local store and the person that answers doesn't even identify themselves and worse, I can't understand half of what he's saying.  His strong accent wasn't the issue as much as him just rambling junk sentences.  Eventually speak with someone else who simply tells me they can't take phone orders.

Tried the app which simply wouldn't progress past my credit card number - clearly something wrong with their payment process.

In that time, I could have baked four pizzas at home, which would also have been made with healthier flour and ingredients. Okay, tidying up the kitchen is neglected in the process. 🤣

Got Dominoes and they delivered in something like 20 minutes from the end of the order being placed. It'd take me that long just to get the flour out of the cupboard.

If making pizza i only make it with yeast which takes hours.  Not a fan of those scone like bases made with baking powder

Me too. That's why I keep portions of prepared homemade dough in the freezer.

Hey thanks that is pretty cool, however on my device, I still have to then scroll down to the update all button which sits below the personalised recommendations menu header.

Was wanting something for the garden on New Year's Day so I checked Google for the Mitre 10 opening times. "Holiday hours" was the description for New Year's day with no reference to what that means. 🤷‍♂️

The topic of my post and the one I quoted was Google. I did check their website but that wasn't the topic of the post. Why not try not to be a prat?

"Pascall Party Pack" are close to 1/2 full of Banana & Eskimo lollies now. I want a genuine mix not 1/2 a bag of the 2 worst lollies ever, my last bag had only 2 snakes in it 🤬

... and now you've got me raging in my head about the excessive quantity of s***ty Cherry Ripes and Turkish Delight in your average box of Favourites.

Adobes email marketing not having a link to unsubcribe!

Worse still a google search took me to this page. That isn't my email address!  I potentially have the power to unsubscribe someone that isn't me! How does a company stay in business, conducting themselves like this.

There's an active sub on Reddit  (that I can't link to because of the GZ profanity filter but a search for r/F***Adobe with appropriate substitutions will get you there) dedicated to the somewhat nefarious practices of Adobe when it comes to cancellations.

Google has that same loophole where they'll still email you about stuff they deem "mandatory" even if you've unsubscribed.
