Small annoyance:
Microwave oven beeps when its timer hits zero.
Bosch oven beeps after its timer hits zero, almost a full second after.

Senecio: Already?? It's only 10-Jan!
gzt: Bus lane signage. Can be Mon-Fri, Mon-Fri 6am-10am, etc. The average road user isn't going to know the days and times of operation unless very familiar with the area. This means most people default to not using them at all, which isn't great for traffic. Some dynamic go/no-go in road indicator may be required to make best use of them.
Not as bad as those school zones that tell you the hours on a "school day" - when I go past on school days just after 9 the times are still active but no activity that makes it look like a school day. I don't think that speed limit awareness should be limited to breeders or others involved in school activities.
Then you have the electronic "school day" ones that tell you to slow down on public holidays. I wonder whether you legally have to or not (presumably the actual legal documentation says "on school days" so I'm guessing you could ignore the sign, but I may be wrong, and even then you might get a cop trying to enforce it anyway).
I believe that you have to slow down for flashing school speed restriction signs on public holidays, Sundays, etc.
Back to work tomorrow. Just settling down with a book and getting ready for an early night, and then someone starts with thumping bass.

That would be the moment when I would put the book aside, take out my tenor saxophone and start playing ABBA's classic ‘Thank You for the Music’. 😁

Something similar crossed my mind, but I ended up taking a more diplomatic approach. It's nice and quiet now.
And then at about 9:58 they turned it on again. This time I've gone to noise control.

Generally the signage states the time on them, if not time is displayed then its safe to assume its always a bus lane.
Same deal with transit lanes. the number of people who dont know how they work is astonishing.

The one that annoys me the most is the school speed signs that say "when children present" or "on school days". Both are open to some kind of interpretation, and I don't have kids so have no idea when school holidays are.
