SaltyNZ: Alas, someone else from 2degrees will be taking my place tonight. I got back from Santa Clara this morning at 6am, where I accepted this: ...

Brilliant! Congratulations...

Yeah I think 2Degrees is deserving of many accolades they've helped us from being ripped off by a pair of monopolistic businesses that were happy milking us until some competition turned and said...Umm why the hell are we paying so much when there's no reason for us to be paying such high prices lets stir it up a little and a few years down the track prices are lower across the board I would probably think spending has possibly even increased and if the article about number porting was accurate 2Degrees are still getting huge amounts of customers joining them from other networks.

So congrats to 2Degrees. Shame you miss out on the event tonight though I suppose a free trip to the US will have to be your lot for now. :-)

Yep, another successful evening - and big thanks to the sponsors, the Pizza was great, the drinks tab seemed to run out far too fast (what's new) and i'm writing this on a new HP Netbook.  Chuffed, I might add.  So thanks heaps MF and everyone else involved!

My first time at GZPE and I had a neat time. I was able to put faces to what were before simply login names and I was able to single out certain Moderators that may have ticketed me in the past and give them a piece of my mind.
Thank-you Mauricio and other organisers for putting on a good event and thank-you to the sponsors for the food, beverages and prizes.
Thank-you Gavin for chauffeuring me to the venue and back, just so I could enjoy a few extra beverages.
Lets do it again next year!

Yeah, well done to Blakjak and the fella that walked away with the Nokia Lumia 800 (can't recall his name, sorry).

I knew I didn't stand much of a chance, as all my luck was used up on Thursday when I unexpectedly won a PS Vita + 12 games. I gotta admit, thats a great "problem" to have! :-D
