The literal small thing that's annoyed me lately - ARGB connectors.  I've been playing with the case fans in my PC and these little connectors are so frustrating.  The have three pins in a 2-0-1 config which means it can only go one way, but the socket on the connector is pretty small for the pins, and I'm always worried - when I'm holding one of these small plugs in my meaty hand, buried in the depths of my PC case - that I'm going to have it the wrong way around and try to push the blanked part of the connector against a pin and bend or crush it.  Surely there's a better design?

There is - but it costs $0.005 more to make 😭, so sorry about that.😆

Try replacing the fan in an iMac and then you'll find your PC case to be luxury.

Tried to take a photo but the iPhone keeps processing it to "balance" it all, but it all look too bright and too contrasty in real life on my screen

deepred: My biggest beef with YT playback is the variations in loudness. One moment you have to turn up the volume, the next you have to turn it back down again.

Google TV Streamer and maybe any recent Google TV has a normalize setting for this. It seems to work reasonably well overall.

Is there a Windows and Android phone/tablet equivalent?

"I regret to say that we of the F.B.I. are powerless to act in cases of oral-genital intimacy, unless it has in some way obstructed interstate commerce." — J. Edgar Hoover

"Create a society that values material things above all else. Strip it of industry. Raise taxes for the poor and reduce them for the rich and for corporations. Prop up failed financial institutions with public money. Ask for more tax, while vastly reducing public services. Put adverts everywhere, regardless of people's ability to afford the things they advertise. Allow the cost of food and housing to eclipse people's ability to pay for them. Light blue touch paper." — Andrew Maxwell

It's a bit bright, and he looks a bit red, but I'm guessing that this isn't as blown out as what you're seeing:

It's a 2020. Whether you consider that "old" or "new" is a matter of perspective 🙂

I still have a 1999 model and it's relatively easy to get into, but the 2005 (which I no longer have) was a breeze. The 2020 is a huge step backwards.

You've quoted me but haven't said anything.

Meanwhile, today's annoyance is companies that hang onto your details for way longer than they should. I got an email from Google this morning about changes to the Play Store privacy policy. I haven't logged in since getting an iPhone in 2011.

Hmm, tried uploading this jpeg and it kept crashing out on me. Using my work computer and it seems fine so here is the pic

Compare that to my normal screen (off to the right) of brightness. No other youtube things I loved at were like this

It's summer.
I have returned to Auckland from a dry, warm and dusty South Island trip and it's hosing down and a bit chilly.
Again...it's summer.

If its any consolation to you, Its raining and a bit chilly in sunny Nelson today. Mind you its nothing like the rain that you've been getting up there and we need it as its been so dry and dusty down here like you described.

Ok, so maybe I'm not helping with my reply.

Do you guys complain when it's occasionally sunny and warm in Winter? :)

Maybe that will make you feel a fraction better :)
