Tonight's one on marketplace at 11pm:

"Can I have your address please can I come and pee right now? Because I'm just looking for now."

I'm going to assume he meant "see" right now as it would a bit more disturbing if that wasn't a typo or autocorrect.

I may be up watching the tennis, but he doesn't know that (wife is in bed though) and it's 11pm. You're not coming to my house right now.  And it's just old playstation games for $15, it's not furniture or anything that needs inspection. Perhaps he wanted to come in and fire each one up to have a go first.....

I'd be pretty wary of having a stranger over for a pee at 11pm...

Indeed. It's a weird typo when P and S are on opposite sides of the keyboard. Anyway there was no further response to "sorry it's 11pm, you can't come right now. Which games are you interested in?" (there are several in the one listing).

Technically it depends on the keyboard. It's the sort of typo I'd make at 11pm when on my phone, which uses a T9 keyboard with PQRS on the same key (ironically I usually find it more accurate than the tiny QWERTY keys on a phone screen).

I am going crazy from incompatible power connectors. I have rechargeable mini keyboards, Android boxes, a tablet, phone, remote controls, cameras, Apple laptop, other devices I can’t recall at the moment – and every damn one seems slightly different from the others. Mini this, micro that, cables everywhere. I know the EU is trying to standardise this but that doesn’t help me now. Is there anything that might?

Nothing really that helps for now except maybe a USB C cable with multiple adapters attached to the end. I made a point to stop buying Micro USB devices about 3 years ago but I still have a number floating around today.

Using only the cable that comes with the device is the only sensible method most of the time. It does require labelling which I rarely do. In practice I probably use the original for 6-12 months until it gets swiped for some 'emergency' usually by me or some other random event. I agree, standards should be standards.., and in some cases manufacturers even supply cables that really don't suit the device socket..

I bought it years ago at amazon, but should be available at aliexpress etc. as well. I have it constantly in my IT survival bag when I visit customers or when I travel. You can plug them all together in a row in a size of a ball pen writer.

Search for „USB C to Micro USB Adapter 6-Pack, Supports OTG Function

I used one of these for ages in the car, Toyota actually gave it to me as I had AA/Carplay installed in my car. It worked brilliantly as I needed lightning for my work phone, C for personal and micro for a camera and tablet.

They must sell them here. Nice braided Belkin cable.

My annoyance of the day:

Our heat pump/aircon - it's either freezing or it's not cold enough. There never seems to be a happy middle ground.

My home one's OK (well, usually: it's broken at the moment) but the ones at work are a nightmare. Why does turning the temperature up make the room colder?
