Here's a list of unsolicited numbers I've received in the last several months alone (links to reverse lookups where available). Who else has gotten calls from them?

I found that the volume of nuisance calls dropped off to almost zero when I started using the new call screening feature on the iPhone. It seems that time wasters will leave you alone when they discover that you have robust gatekeeping on your phone and there is minimal chance of actually getting you on the line.

Samsungs have an alert when a calling number is suspected spam

I use Truecaller to identify and tag some of them. When that doesn't suffice, Tellows etc are the next port of call.

"I regret to say that we of the F.B.I. are powerless to act in cases of oral-genital intimacy, unless it has in some way obstructed interstate commerce." — J. Edgar Hoover

"Create a society that values material things above all else. Strip it of industry. Raise taxes for the poor and reduce them for the rich and for corporations. Prop up failed financial institutions with public money. Ask for more tax, while vastly reducing public services. Put adverts everywhere, regardless of people's ability to afford the things they advertise. Allow the cost of food and housing to eclipse people's ability to pay for them. Light blue touch paper." — Andrew Maxwell

Got home after an 8 hour flight

Front door doesn’t open from the inside. Someone at homes cellphone is broken.

I thought I’ll sit and watch tv for half an hour then face the world.

Dog comes over. I think, that’s nice. The dog vomits sand all over the carpet.

I’m either going to bed or opening a beer. Maybe both.

Companies that think an A3 sheet covered in textless illustrations is a suitable "user manual".

I weeded the glasshouse last week and then turned the sprinklers on to water the veges.

Just about all the weeds have sprung up again as if nothing has happened.

Will have to weed it again, but this time I will remove the weeds rather than leave them on top to die off. Lesson learned.

I was actually trying to figure out how to open a cavity in my new vacuum cleaner to get all the dust out. Thankfully we have random people on YouTube to explain what the manufacturers don't.

Annoyed at my iPhone.

Update >> "This update cannot be installed because it requires at least 14.88 GB of available storage."

Storage >> "112.12 GB of 128 GB used"

One of these is lying to me.

Kids who sign up for sports and then tell you the day of their match that they can't participate and are in fact withdrawing from the team due to them not reading the information they were sent multiple times and have scheduled other things on those days.

Kids being kids? Frustrating I'm sure but you are dealing with immature individuals trying to make sense of an overwhelming world that is hurtling non-stop distractions at them every moment of their waking and sleeping lives.
