Kids being kids? Frustrating I'm sure but you are dealing with immature individuals trying to make sense of an overwhelming world that is hurtling non-stop distractions at them every moment of their waking and sleeping lives.

I teach my kids appreciation for other peoples time and generally, about courtesy.

Their parents are as much to blame, they get all the same notifications, information etc.

Its noon and its getting colder. Some weather systems are so inconsiderate.

I had the heat pump on yesterday afternoon because it was getting a bit warm. Contrast with last Sunday where I remember having to close windows to warm the place up a bit.

I cant create an account at LinkedIn.

That may not be a bad thing.

I'm inclined to agree, but there is a guy on there that I urgently need to contact, and other avenues have failed.

Annoyed at my iPhone.

Update >> "This update cannot be installed because it requires at least 14.88 GB of available storage."

Storage >> "112.12 GB of 128 GB used"

One of these is lying to me.

Generic comments - One frequent story, the same or more free space is required for temporary files during the decompress and install. Ie; 14GB compressed download, 30GB for decompression, and another 14GB for install. I'm making up the numbers but that kind of thing is not uncommon in update world. Or, something completely unrelated like checksum failure on decompress and it falls through to the 'space' error message.

You're probably aware of all that and cleaned up the device and installed by now ; ).

Concert/shows not listing any pricing in advance of tickets going on sale. I know it’s so they can force you into panic buying a more expensive ticket by going best available when you’re under the time pressure of the presale and haven’t got time to waste filtering through when it’s popular as seats will be going quickly.

Wife’s dream concert has just been announced and we’re potentially even looking at the VIP tickets which we’ve never done before (it's a bucket list one). Just be nice to be able to plan/make a decision on preference before having to panic buy. I’ve asked the promoter if they can share any pricing info ahead of the presale and they said no. At least they replied.

Just annoying the prices have to be kept so secret until sales open. It's not like buying a house where the price depends on what people offer. The price just is the price. First world problems I know…..

A large number of seemingly small apps can add up. Also, is it storing lots of photos & videos? iPhones & iPads don't have SD card slots like Android devices do, so Apple steers its users toward iCloud storage.

My 6 year old(?) De Longhi espresso machine finally gave up the ghost today.

It's been getting slower and weaker over time and today it just stopped frothing and pulled wonky shots.
Thankfully there was a rare sale on at Briscoes, so I was able to replace it with a new Ninja Luxe for just about half price.

A bit of faff to get it set up, but I've since managed a decent cup out of it on day one.

Wow that was a good price, the ninja web store has them for $799

Man, that was good timing. Who knows how long you'd have had to wait for another sale. All those minutes or hours without coffee!

Behodar:

"We need an integration between existing system X and new system Y".

This integration ends up being one of the more complex, although I'm not sure how much time I spent on it.

System Y goes live.

Seven hours and fifty-five minutes after go-live: "Please remove the integration between systems X and Y; we've decided we don't need it".

The number of times I've seen that... It's a little frustrating at times, but I'm paid by the hour so can't complain too much. That some things never went live is a huge relief as well.

It could've been as long as Wednesday or Thursday!
By then, I probably would have committed a heinous crime!
