Thanks. Don’t really understand how this works and is strange to me. So am I safe just moving out of the app without logging out?
Correct, go into the Passwords and Security part of the same menu and make sure the Pin is set and "PIN log in for this device" is on, and FaceID/TouchID enabled. The first is a default I believe, the second is normally prompted/encouraged. To use it as Multifactor you may need to go into banking via the Website and enable it (can't remember), but when it's enabled, logging in via the Web will trigger an App Notification "Are you trying to log in?".
As long as you havn't set he app not to auto lock/etc you should be fine.
A contribution to the thread, yesterday I popped out to run a few errands/shopping, so ordered a couple of things from PB, including a ream of A4, local branch didn't have the cheaper option (lets say A) in stock so grabbed the other option (B & 30-odd cents more). When I picked it up, they gave me the cheaper out-of-stock one, I pointed out that it seemed to be the case and the cashier sort of laughed it off. Took a closer look when I got to the car, and they had actually put the label for B on A... Hated kicking up a stink about it but have had extremely poor experiences at PB before.
Really a reminder you've got to carefully check things to be honest.
