No, as I mentioned in the second post, just updated the date/time. Nothing else. Even the same URL.

“Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said the rise in case numbers was "no expectation" of moving to red.”

That’s from the Herald. It isn’t even a proper sentence. It means nothing.

Maybe this explains the poor education performance I keep reading about?

NZH headline today:

"Former Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe 'shot' during speech"

What does this mean? Was he shot or not? Or was he sort-of shot? The story following the headline doesn't shed any light on the ambiguity the headline creates.

I'm sure it means "this what we are reporting" (any relationship to the truth is purely coincidental)

Maybe it was a camera shot. Or maybe he was drunk during the speech. Either way, he collapsed, bleeding.

From here

https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/crime/300636426/woman-in-her-70s-leapt-on-an-armed-man-in-bid-to-stop-auckland-store-robbery

“It wasn’t until he was almost at the exit that he got the woman off and said’ if you move I'm going to effing shoot you’,” she said.

The witness’ 17-year-old daughter had her phone out taking pictures.

“We heard glass breaking, really loud noises. I was shaking. It was nerve-racking,” the teenager said.

I always thought is was nerve-wracking. We're not putting things on a rack here.

I learned "wracking" too, but the OED says that either is correct.
